I'm sorry but even if that would be true, the hush hush is total BS and i don't think Sexton & Kawasaki deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I agree, I think at this point the most loyal of Chase fans even have to be honest with themselves he hasn’t handled his last few years very well. Really looks bad too when you leave a team and one of your biggest rivals comes in, has immediate success, and everyone there is now happy. Chase is a bad dude on a bike but it sure seems there is something way off about his attitude when things don’t go well or he has some adversity

I’m always an advocate for providing regular and relevant updates but I can see where repeat concussions and ongoing symptoms could cause someone to be less open and uncertain about how to proceed.
Unlike most other injuries concussion effects are cumulative and pretty permanent. Chase will be 27 this year; if we assume he’s got 3-4 years left he won’t want them compromised by concerns of a concussion problem.
When’s the new bike come out? Could he be waiting to race that

I agree, I don't think people remember what a head case Windham was in his early factory days. Thinking he could just walk away from his Yamaha commitment because he didn't like McCarty keeping his girlfriend out of the team rig (and got his ass handed to him in court by Yamaha) to his days at Honda when he was on thin ice there also. MXA has lots of articles on Windham and his antics. Cool to see that he was able to become one of the most popular riders in the long run.

Are you still seriously following me around on this? Yes. If he isn't a quitter, he should release what his injury is that is preventing him from riding because it isn't a good look.

See, your first issue is that you first thought that I am Sexton fan so you try and make a double standard situation so that I let Prado off the hook (in my insignificant fan-or-not brain), but I am not. So yes, I believe both are weak mentally and prone to giving up. Get over it. It's my opinion. That said, they can both change my mind in time. Mental funks aren't forever all the time. I am starting to like Prado more and more this year. When things are working, he has a good attitude and he is likeable. Same with Chase. But the fact we are here talking about it in 400 separate threads means that it isn't so cut and dry, doesn't it?
Your second issue is that you think you are going to change my mind with these stupid comments trying to justify their actions.

Would be useful if there was at least some knowledge of his injury. I mean if we are assessing the situation based solely on what’s been made public it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think there wasn’t any actual injury.
There is some knowledge, they said he hurt his back and hip initially….Although they haven’t said anything since I can see where it is a little frustrating for some people but to say there wasn’t an actual injury is a bit over the top and heading into conspiracy lala land….

Yes and no. Honda wanted to keep him for 01-02 but the 900k salary match was a hard no.

When has he ever been forthcoming regarding injury? Filling in the blanks = making shit up and creating conspiracy BS…Kaw did a press release when he got injured saying he hurt his hip and lower back…people seem to forget about that….
Not speaking to his injury, but Chase is in an unfortunate spot where he no longer gets the benefit out the doubt with the bike. Three bikes in five years and he's always had issues.
What is so frustrating is that he has gotten faster - last to first performance at Hangtown, one of the few guys that can pass Jett straight up - but also more erratic. Maybe it is the nature of pushing the limit as your competitors do over time but yeah the highs are higher and the lows are lower.
On the Honda when he crashed and tucked the front - always got back up and ultimately won the SX championship after Tomac's freak achilles injury. Last year on the KTM, despite a bunch of bonehead moves he was in it till then end in SX. Now...... What the Actual F.....
What if,,, after George bad mouthed the Kawi at every opportunity, and having witnessed Chase's little tantrums with other makes, Kawasaki management put clear and decisive lawyer language in the contract specifying that if Chase couldn't say something good about the bike / team, he better not say anything? Suddenly, the silence makes sense. Quite loudly. Flame away all you slurpers!

I am sure Prado had the same language in his contract just like most factory riders or professional athletes, you cant bad mouth and bite the hand that feeds you. Some can get away with it but unless you are the second coming of Jesus then don't bad mouth your employer. 😁
Sad to say but I,ll be missing the 1st 5 rounds. I think I ovr trained , so I need to rest & recover. And my new hat , I believe I suffered a concussion from it. So no Prow races until further notice. Lol
