It’s actually shocking to look back on all of that and that something wasn’t done to remove him from office.

Attacking Biden shows an inability to defend Trump. As does name calling. Time to be an adult.

You do understand that there are people who dislike both right? And just because I have a problem with something one person is doing, that is not an endorsement of anybody else.

I imagine that is the case for most people .

You should look up and read  a study that was done on TDS.

I'm beginning to think that we would have been better off if Iran was left alone and let to build its Nukes.

This USA & Isreal against Iran war has fucked our economy here and next month we will be paying unheard of fuel prices which is the nail in the coffin for most of us with the exception of the wealthy.

I pray for a fucking nuclear war!  I'm tired of this life's fucking struggle. Better to be dead than to struggle like this.

May those serviceman who gave their lives rest in Peace. They are in a better place.

When our stock market was dropping at the start of the tariffs, there were some, "good, I hope it burns to the ground" comments. And the natural response would be, why on earth would you want people to lose their retirements? Which, they didn't really. What they were really doing, was expressing the frustration of their situation and being unable to participate in stock markets, getting tired of everyone talking about how much they made while they're stuck on the sidelines watching life pass them by. This is real life stuff, everyone's future. Nobody wants to be 80 years old working for $16/hr at some Walmart with no benefits, eating Wonderbread inside their moldy trailer. We all want more than that.

I view your comment similarly. Nothing to apologize for and nothing to be ashamed of, it's just expressing the depth of your frustration. The only thing I could say is to keep fighting and do it for your wife or kids or anyone you love, and do it for yourself so you can help care for them. And I don't know how to dig out of that frustration, but I do know it starts with investing however many seconds and pennies you can spare into finding it. If you have an employer, perhaps whatever your career is would offer more if you were your own boss and maybe there's some path to it that needs to be figured out.

Still waiting to see the incident report on the two tankers.  Very odd.

How quickly do they complete/release the details of the investigations in these types of incidents that occur in a conflict zone?

I saw an AI ‘re-creation’ video the other day and they claimed that one of the likely scenarios was that one of the planes was refueling the other one. Does that happen often or was that just a fantasy type claim?  It sounded sort of plausible, but obviously you have a lot of direct experience with that sort of thing.

These aircraft were apparently older models w/o the ability to receive fuel airborne. A full USAF report could be 12+ months out.

If my memory serves, which is hit or miss these days, the only 135 variant that could pass AND receive fuel is the EC-135.  Possibly the RC-135 but I honestly don't remember.

I know the "Q" model was a little different because it was dedicated to the SR71 but I don't think it could be aerial refueld.

Tankers normally don't fuck around in "high threat" areas which kinda tells me this was an accident.  When or what we're told is anyone's guess.

Iran having some nukes over higher gas prices? You’re trippin boom. I’m paying $6 US dollars a gallon right now in Temecula, CA and I’d rather pay that then having a country chanting “death to America” with nukes at their disposal.

North Korea: “Death to America”

China: “Death to America”

Russia: “Death to America”

Iran: “Death to America”

America: We must destroy Iran!

Midairs are not uncommon, especially in combat ops.  Tight confines + night + extended cycles = high risk. Apparently one aircrew had been aloft ~12 hours. The USAF will likely label it a contributing factor.

I'd agree if it was fighters being refueled.  Not uncommon for that boom to beat the shit out the receiver but two tankers making contact is not normal.  Like I said, things are not adding up.

Hasn't it been said it was from enemy fire over Iraq? Does that not make sense?

Could be a non-tanking incident if one 135 was replacing another on-station. Tankers fly predetermined routes, and an overlap isn’t beyond the realm of possibility.

Back in ‘93 my pilot and I created a boondoggle when we ripped the refueling hose off a KC-135. Navy aircraft have different refueling probes and techniques than our Air Force brethren, and the 135’s process was challenging. In short order the refueling hose wrapped around our Intruder’s probe, and our subsequent maneuver sent the basket tumbling towards the Red Sea.  A bunch of thirsty Hornets and Tomcats were not pleased.

The other guys already have nukes, makes it too dangerous now, they’ll just send a nuke up into the sky and then that’s the war that everyone’s playing at.

Honestly I didn’t vote, but as a civilian in America I do feel safer with Trump leading the nation over Biden/Harris.

Autocracies should scare every American. Not just for the obvious, but because of what it says about where we're at in these political and economic cycles. This is what scared people choose as a last thrashing that makes everything worse just before bad stuff starts popping off.

I started my career as a Pneudraulics Tech.  They had only dismantled the In-flight Refueling Tech career field less than a year before and they rolled that system and troops into Pneudraulics so I learned the IFR systems from some pretty knowledgeable dudes.

I loved working the boom and I have swapped out many a nozzle to install the drogue so you swabbies could buy some gas.

I got to revisit the Tanker world as a Civil Service Pneudraulics Tech down at Altus AFB.  The entire maintenance section was made up of retired guys with 20+ years of mostly Tanker experience.  It's still incredible to me how efficient a group can be with enough hands on and heads up.

I have a VCR tape somewhere with an air-to-air refuel, along with some other fun stuff. It was taken during the end of my ‘93 cruise and was one of my last flights off the carrier. Now I gotta go dig that thing up!  Thanks, Plow, for the busy work!

If you're anything like me...we've got absolutely unbelievable stories...things we saw and did.

I get embarrassed when folks say, "Thanks for your service".  I tell them thank-you but your tax dollars paid for everything I learned and got to experience.  It wasn't all unicorns and scotch but even the bad parts taught me important lessons.

It’s actually shocking to look back on all of that and that something wasn’t done to remove him from office.

True, but then also man up and be honest about the fact that Trump is now also a mumbling, demented baboon.

Standing up in the middle of his meeting with all big oil bosses to look through the window and mumbling about how amazing construction sites are. Starting to talk about the golden curtains while giving a speech about fallen soldiers. Naming Iran and Iraq through each other.

PS: Iran has no nuclear weapons and their facilities aren't used in years. That will every intelligence office tell you except the two who wanna create a regime change. Would the NATO and Europe say "Go fuck yourself", if there would be nukes?! Nope!

Trick them once with Iraq, ok! But you won't trick them twice in making that mistake, with Iran now.

Same here.  No need for the thanks, I was happy to do it!

It’s amazing how few people actually join the military. Most new entries have either a military connection or are just looking for a way out. But few civilian jobs can give you the same experience.  In both good and bad ways.

Yeah, Trump stating that maybe the US shouldn’t be in the Persian Gulf because we have our own oil was not a great look. The stress of this campaign is getting to him, and while he’s not Biden, his enthusiasm for the gig is waning.  But he can’t be labeled a “loser” and will likely continue to put our soldiers in harms way to avoid that moniker.

If you remember the '70's oil embargo and the cries of "Energy Independence " and when it was illegal to sell American oil overseas...well, they did "drill baby drill" till we had more than we could use so they let them sell it out of the country.  We wouldn't give a shit about world oil prices if OUR oil was kept in our country.

Do you think that Trump repeats himself over and over again and that a lot of people are tired of hearing about it?

Yes.

How does Donald Trump persuade his audience?

One of the primary ways in which Trump persuades his audience is through repetition. Repetition is a persuasive technique often used by politicians, journalists, and advertisers – but why is it so effective?

According to several psychological studies, repeating simple words and phrases can convince us that they are true, even if they aren’t.

He repeats himself but also repeatedly says contradictory things, like in the video below. This is without a doubt also one of the reasons why NATO and European Union aren't helping him at the moment. Saying that you need them but also saying you don't need them and they never did something for the USA, while not the USA, but NATO went to war against terrorism after 9/11.

He made the USA already a laughing stock, but now he's really making an attempt to go into history as the worst president ever. Creating an inflation worldwide and, his pride, the stock market that shows their discontent.
