Is nobody talking about the major sponsor placement Cooper Webb granted “dbk.” last weekend, or did I just miss it. I mean, does he have a new title sponsor or what?

I think he has had that for a while. I have seen him in older banner ads with dbk. Maybe even a couple races last year?

I guess doing whips and slamming monster pays.

DBK and Fly sell that gear to the public, I actually think it looks pretty good. The ClubMx guys have ran it this year too.

Coops Merch is actually made through DBK and can be purchased on their website. Plus Fly has the collab gear on the bike but also now casual wear, which itself is massive for both brands with the crossover.

Cooper wears fly gear not branded dbk too though so why would that be made through dbk?

His merch IE shirts and hoodies are different from his riding gear, clearly

Why not. Webb's orders go through DBK, DBK staff packages it and ships it to the customers. Webb doesn't have to do anything. He doesn't have to hire people or ship his stuff through a 3PL. One stop shop for him. Plessinger does it as well through DBK.

I didn’t catch the merch part of the sentence before I replied. My bad.

That makes sense. Misreading on my part as I thought he was talking about riding gear and I was honestly curious.

The black/red gear combo on the Star Yamaha is criminal. Sorry not sorry.

I’m just saying: the way his gear looked in Indy, it seems like dirt bike kids is his biggest sponsor now; I would be surprised if that’s actually true.

What you’re seeing is a partnership/collaboration between Fly and DBK, not DBK and Webb.

Nothing to do with that. JT even mentioned on one of the pulp shows that this was planned along time ago for the FLY riders to wear the dbk./FLY gear at one of the rounds this year.

Get it through your head brother.

Okay okay, I get it. I haven’t been following pulp so I missed the announcement. So Indy was his “one race” and we shouldn’t expect to see the dbk logo so big for the rest of the season. Got it.

I had no clue what DBK was until I looked it up, so I guess the collab is working. Looks like some pretty cool adult apparel.  👍

Because the company is run by Twitch and a couple of other freeride/freestyle guys, and apparently making a really good living riding a dirt bike but not being a racer somehow makes you bad.

It's not my style, but I respect what Stenberg "Twitch" has built with DBK.  They have AP and Webb and now the partnership with Fly.  Cool story IMO and we should celebrate the ability of that guy to create a brand and a business.
