Some really interesting stuff from press day today!
- Eli considered KTM briefly before he moved across to Yamaha.
- Cooper is back on a base setting the team took him away from.
- Aaron is on a spring fork, no longer air, to help his rear problem.
More, too, and a ton of MXGP talk (forgive me for that but I'm excited).
Great stuff! I like how Jade went back and picked up part of Tomac’s tooth to get it bonded 😂
I'm all for Hunter getting this title but man, Eli is looking and sounding scary confident.
It also seems like he's baffled/surprised by Lew's actual questions and queries, instead of the same formulaic dribble from most of the press.
Mechanic of the year right there. He refuses to have his rider with anything less than 100% of his effort.
it’s funny to watch Hunter all but refuse to give ANY real information on the setup stuff week in and week out 😂

I don’t know…my bike has been running so much better since I switched over to left handed tools. Probably helps that I’m also left handed. I never even knew they existed before he dropped that bomb.
Eli crash during press day at 1:52. Not really sure how he got so sideways and looks like he landed easy, but crazy how these guys are always just a small mistake away from injury. Obviously we saw how it can happen even on Press Day with Forkner earlier this year. 😕

Lewis, you need to do a deep, deep dive and see if Ryan D has had any interaction with Eli. I saw that he is around and I’m sure he talks to his brother when he is.
