Crazy the standard for Thor now is “pretty good”. I may go back to college just so I can do a case study on the demise of Thor.

Can Kawasaki have (2) Brand Ambassadors with the same # on their bikes ? Or do we see a “Welcome Back MC2” from either Yamaha or Honda.
Someone on here with some AI talent could create this “BREAKING” announcement ? Any takers ? Might as well create a rumor ?

As ambassadors I’d rather Mc at Honda and Fro at Yamaha. It’s where their careers took off..

Same…

The Emig and Husqvarna relationship never made sense. He was pretty bummed when they dumped him for MC at Kawi.

You can tell who didn't listen to Weimer's interview by the people calling him whiney and saying he wouldn't have been battling top guys. He was pretty damn clear on what he thought might have changed, his feeling towards the team, etc.

Thats vitards for ya. Complain that the riders never speak up and then once they do they complain about that also.

I listened to it, I also have a buddy that lived with him and he would say talk a lot about the outside crap Jake had going on and how it took his mind away from racing a lot.

Yep. He was extremely precise and extremely conscientious about what he chose to convey. And people take any negative opinion they disagree with as "whining".  Who knew Jack and coke Jake was so articulate and intelligent. The masks we wear.

Jake has always been intelligent and introspective, I just think most of that is lost on the Jack and Coke episode unfortunately.

Side note - Jake’s dad quite literally sold the farm to keep Jake racing. I think it was at least two generations deep at that point. Just crazy the sacrifices some of these parents did to keep their kids racing.

Except why does he need a first step? Does the brand ambassador role really prepare someone to manage a race team?

This makes no sense to me , if he is anything other than a figurehead.

Half the reason they are where they are , is because he could ride the shit out of whatever he was given, and they did very little work to help Weimer.

Its like hiring JS7 to fill out your paperwork.

Yes, but time and $ heal all wounds.

It'd be awkward to manage the Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and be a Yamaha brand ambassador.
