Ghost Hounds was a Feld thing and being pushed to the broadcast.

This is with Kawasaki. Doubt we'll hear much about it.

Edit: Wasn't mentioned once during the broadcast.

I’ve never heard of that singer. Seems like such a strange collab and thing for a factory racing team to do.

I heard monster and kawi are sponsoring his tour.

He’s a massive Country Star, he has tons of hits and sells out everywhere he goes.

I just saw the Morgan Wallen graphics on Chase’s bike in the pits, no f**king wonder he’s sitting this one out 🤣😂.

Pop variants tend to be formulaic bland crap lifestyle salespeople, and that is massively popular. It's all about numbers reached.

Morgan Wallen is huge in country music. I'm not big on country music, but it's very popular. My wife loves it, and she's also a big Morgan Wallen fan. To be honest I have to admit, I do like some of his songs.

Say what you want, but getting stars like him involved with SX is a good thing. We need more outside the industry sponsors to grow the sport. It can't be all energy drinks.

Morgan Wallen is the best musician in the last 5 years.  Listen to Neon Eyes and tell me that isn't a great song.

I listened to 57 seconds of it. Not music I’d put on to listen to but I won’t hate on it. The promo graphics kinda reminded me of the pc kawi years when monster was spelled out on top of the shroud.

At this point it’s hard not to point the finger at Chase. It’s the same story with every manufacturer but he seems to reach that point faster as the team changes go on. 1. He’s chasing a setup that doesn’t exist. 2. He’s too talented for his own good and it reinforces his ideas in his own head and 3. His dad is right there to back him up when he tells them it’s the bike. The Kawi may not be perfect but it’s good enough if he would just clear his head and maybe adjust technique a little. He bitched and moaned about the KTM and yet here’s Eli, looking more comfortable than he has anytime since the shoulder injury and literally winning right out of the gate. I think Chase would benefit from not having anyone in his corner to back up his shitty setup ideas and just riding whatever Chiz and Tickle come up with. He literally needs to be told “sorry, we cannot make anymore changes”. KTM couldn’t be nearly as bad as he made it sound. They completely removed the hydraulic clutch from their bike for Eli, made room on the team for Prado even with all the bad press he was getting and basically resurrected Coop’s entire 450 career after he fully disappointed everyone on the Yami. When every bike and every team has the same issue, it’s not the bike or the team. It sucks because he’s insanely talented and exciting to watch. When he showed up last year and laid the heat down on Jett outdoors it was incredible. But then he continues that search for the unicorn and fucks it all up again.

The Bad Bunny graphics weren't dry yet...

It's a bit of both imo. Chase has moaned (beyond the regular) about every team he's ever been on, that's true, but while grumbling he was still shockingly fast and able to deliver good speed and results. Outside of one race and some flashes of real speed during a practice here and there (until the track goes away), he hasn't really been able to come close to what he had.

As for the team side of things; there's just far too much smoke (ex rider comments/performances) for there not to be an issue with the way Kawasaki has historically handled it's riders and testing, and the consequences of that today...

If we take the most recent controversy (unless/until Chase is next to publically blow up on them) it's telling that even though injured and completely absent the past 3 races, Jorge STILL (so far) looks to be the big "I told you so..."  winner from the whole Prado vs Kawasaki drama... He isn't even close to the same rider. Then we have Weimer recently unable to bite his lip any longer etc.

So yeah Chase is Chase but I also don't doubt the bike is lagging compared to the likes of KTM, Honda and arguably even Suzuki. The Suzukisaur is old but what it has in terms of chassis and handling is fundamentally good. Unlike in the GPs they can only address so much stateside.

Funny you mentioned that…when I first saw them during the race I thought they had done throwback graphics with something resembling those.

Chase might be better off leaving the rear end alone and learning how to ride it as delivered (hypnotist if necessary) as there's other things they can do to enhance stability. Instead, he sets off a chain reaction trying to regain balance in the bike through the front end and that doesn't seem to work like he dreams/expects it will.

Chase and his dad should go work and enterprise. Rent cars for a year and I’m sure their attitudes will change. Gain some perspective and a better appreciation of racing dirt bikes for a living.

They didn't come from money, pretty sure they're both well aware. Chase has said if he wasn't racing he'd be back in Illinois farming with his friends. Can definitely relate to the sentiment.......

It’s awesome for the sport that Morgan Wallen’s name was on the side of a dirt bike. First time I heard of him was when he opened for Luke Bryan at Dodger Stadium July 28, 2018. Whiskey Glasses must have just come out or coming out because I remember him saying he sung it for the first time or one of the first times. John Pardi and Sam Hunt also opened that night, I remember not liking Sam Hunts Performance, don’t remember John Pardi’s.

I wonder if Chase would be better as straight rhythm specialist

As a previous poster said, women love him and his songs. Not my cup of tea but I don’t want to hate on the guy. I guess it’s good exposure for growing the sport 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It's different but it's not like bands/musicians hasn't been done before.
