I sincerely believe he is another generational talent; his last to 5th on that nasty, rutty track was something to behold.  He's going to be the heir apparent to Jett a few years down the road.

Kitchen has been doing rides like that on the other coast with less separation on the tracks. He is great. But he isn't in a league of his own

I'm pretty sure they started all that in the beginning to intimidate an opposing tribe, or to show the gods how badass they are, or some shit like that. Now, in modern times, it's just cringe af. Just because something is cultural doesn't mean it's off limits to ridicule. Think I've seen them doing these rituals in congress or some government setting, get the fuck outta here with your barbaric bs. It's childish.

So cool you use the word cringe while you bag on a culture. Pretty sure a lot of people think people that say cringe is even more cringe we just don’t say it you uncultured swine.

Well, when I see it, it makes me cringe. Quite literally. Calling someone swine because they are critical of a cultural tradition is silly. Are there not cultures around the world with practices you are critical of? Or are you one of those woke lefties who shouts from the rooftops that cultural practices are off limits?

If that video quite literally makes you cringe, then that says a lot about you. I hope one day you get to witness it. One of the most powerful and moving things to be a part of. The YT comments sum it up nicely.

Anyway, back to the motocross stuff. Looking forward to Davies crushing whoops for years to come. Roll on Daytona.

You're missing my point. It's the theatrics in government settings because it's "culture," or a young moto athlete plopping his tongue out randomly with a straight face that makes me cringe. You guys doing this crazy dance and chanting on your little island doesn't bother me at all.

Bros are arguing over sticking tongues out and we should be talking about how Deegan is going to smoke Cole at the E/W Shootout, whoop speed or not. Remember, there's a new kitchen in the chef.

I love how a discussion about Māori culture somehow became about your feelings and “woke lefties.” That escalation was… efficient.

You’re not being criticised for questioning culture, you’re being criticised for doing it poorly.
Slapping “woke” on any resistance doesn’t make your position bold, it just shows that you don’t know how to defend it.

No, I was indeed being criticized for simply calling out cultural practice. For having an opinion that performing said acts in certain settings is ridiculous. And only then did I use the woke label, because that is exactly what lefties do, they shut down those that call out cultural practices. They attempt to restrict free speech via mockery or some other ad hominem. I can assure you I know how to defend my position, smart guy. Calling some moron woke is just simpler, it encapsulates their mindset quite succinctly.

Imagine living in Maple Valley, Washington...on Indigenous land... and calling Indigenous ceremony “barbaric.”

Oh, here we go, you've let your mask slip there bud. You've ingested the public school propaganda like a good little commie. I'm assuming you're of the mind that Europeans "stole" this land eh? And, those people were not indigenous, they came over a land bridge from Russia and settled, just like we settled, and we smoked their asses in war. They were running around raping and pillaging neighboring tribes for thousands of years, being literal barbarians. Then we came over, they fucked around and found out. Period.

Is it similar to that cringey haka thing Maori people do?

Definitely fucking cringy. You're not scaring anyone with your lame ass tongue and crazy dance.

Reducing it to “tongue and crazy dance” is just proof you’ve never bothered to understand anything outside your own bubble.
Funny how Indigenous cultures expressing pride is “cringe,” but military flyovers, flag worship, and chanting a country’s name isn’t. The haka has meaning, lineage, and restraint.
Your comment is just insecurity dressed up as confidence.

But again. comparing NZ culture to Americans culture isn't fair..  A country that idolises paedophilia and satanic rituals like America is much more intimidating. especially in modern times. That LA lifestyle is far more cringy tho.

LOL, insecurity dressed up as confidence? Talking shit about some barbarian bullshit traditions practiced by people that never invented a damn thing or contributed to the prosperity of society is insecurity? My people invented and built the whole modern world, and these clowns want to come in and do their crazy faces and dances in our civilized institutional settings like government and motorsport. Then we have a European descendent moto athlete plopping his tongue out on TV like a damn fool to show the world he's proud of the barbarians back home who he doesn't even share lineage with. Fantastic.

There is a zero percent chance he moves to 450 MX by next year. What are you guys smoking. The kid needs at least 1 SX and 1 MX Title to even consider moving up. He'll be in 250's for the next 2 years minimum. Hopefully with 2 outdoor titles and at least 1 supercross title. The kid has about 3 250 SX titles in him if his career can be as perfect as his whoop technique and speed. Mark me down for 2028 450 MX debut if all goes well.
