You could tell that both him amd kitchen had a lot of fun in that race. Whatever his past actions are, he showed some sportsmanship and was respectful in giving props to kitchen. It was a nice surprise and proves he does actually know how to act like that. We will see what we get next weekend...

I don’t mind the antics, the dumb riding is another story but the dude absolutely rips. What bothers me about the “show” is that it is so disingenuous. I’m too young to remember bob hannah other than YouTube clips. But from what I gather, he wasn’t playing a character or putting on a show, that was just him.

Deegan would be a lot more endearing to me if it didn’t come across as fake, shallow, rehearsed etc.

I agree with needing a change from boring podium speeches, “can’t thank so and so, dunlops hooking up, hitting marks,” but don’t come across as a rehearsed clown show… just my two cents

That's the thing though. I really don't think what you see is fake, shallow, rehearsed. That's really just his cringy self. Still entertaining. As long as...

Well, on the podium, it sounded like he had a line planned about a new chef or something and bricked it.

I don’t care for his podium interviews, but I sure as hell didn’t care for Ryan Dungey’s either..

“I cant thank the team, everyone did great, dunlops hooking up great, blah blah blah”

I don’t have a problem watching him race (apart from his SMX crap where he should have been pulled off the track).

But as soon as he crosses the finish line it’s fast forward to the 450 race. I don’t need to hear one word from him or his father.

He is no James Stewart...

If you look at the stats on the smaller bike,  he's going to end his career with numbers very, very similar to jett and james.

Agreed. Title-wise, he could end up the same (with 4 years of SX vs 3 for James)

But win for win? Nah. James won 28 of the 31 125 nationals he raced. All 3 losses were mechanical DNFs.

And I think he only lost 2 supercrosses from 03-04

Nut job.

Lol. "You tell the chef there's a new kitchen! Wait... but ya, uh, sick, that was just a gnarly race"

Nut job.

I went and checked,  James is up around 14 wins over Haiden right now.  I had to chuckle when adding up james.  So many 1-1-1-1.

Title wise yes,  win wise no.
