Plessinger, Jcoop, Ferrandis, Craig, McElrath, Mookie….shall we keep going?
It's not that hard to see that Deegan's stats so far in his career are better than the majority of names listed. That's the point. It took Craig almost 10 years and a retirement to get to that point. It took Mcelrath the better half of 6 seasons. Jcoop was the number 1 seed coming into the playoffs last year, and the only guy to not miss a single race, insane to consider that underperforming from his 250 career. I know alot of people want this kid to disappoint, but the results don't lie. He has the most potential and hype since Jett moving up.
The Haidenhealth department shut down the kitchen for a code 38 violation.
Anything can happen and the season is far from over, but if Deegan stays on his current path, he'll leave the 250 class with 2 250 regional titles and 2 250 National titles (dominated both outdoor titles), which pretty much matches Jett's 250 days. When people talk about Pourcel, Wilson, Barcia, Alessi and Martin, they did not have anywhere near the dominance Haiden had in such a short period, with the exception of Pourcel who had a World Title under his belt and was very good from the start. But what really hampered Pourcel's adaptation to the 450 was injuries, missing seasons due to bad career and team choices (remember the debacle with David Vuillimen and MotoConcepts?), and losing his confidence.
There's a reason why Deegan is winning and it doesn't have anything to do with the size of the bike. These guys who have multiple titles in dominate fashion almost always translate that success to the bigger bikes. And vice versa; riders who have average results in the 250 class usually have average results in the 450 class.
While we have no idea how Danger Boy will do in the 450 class, Gimmea2stroke and others have no grounds to proclaim he'll get blasted again and again. Gimmiea2smoke has been breathing in too much premix and is projecting what he wants to happen instead of looking at this fairly. He is definitely not welcome aboard the Haiden Deegan Super Fan choo-choo train.

Well said. /End of that discussion.
There should be no flaming away sandman cause you're right!!
Humility buy's staying power, and without it his flame will burn out.
So Barcia with 16 years or so with a factory ride and wins in every class isn't successful? Bet his accountant thinks he is.
You mean a half field of 250's. Hopefully he will race the 450's in the East. Show us what he can do.
you 2 nut-huggers are insufferable. ML, give us a "mute" or "ignore" function?
"no one gives it back to him, they just let him walk all over them." In order to give it to somebody you gotta be able to catch them😂.
kitchens tried the last race, but was way too nice about it.
Who can beat him on the East coast? He is beating Kitchen, Hymas, Anstie, Macadoo, Ryder, who is better on the East?
Click the profile name and then block.
Exactly he just got done being a teenager. He’s dominating and making a fortune at the moment. Nothing wrong with that. Such crazy takes on this forum…. Wasting time 😂😂🙄🙄
Davies beat him last year. Shimoda as well. Shimoda will most likely miss the start of the series.
You probably shouldn’t be calling anyone insufferable 🤦♂️ Textbook hater……
Haiden knew he might try some slick shit..Yes a right hand turn more difficult to lock the rear brake & slide the end around to smack deegans front wheel… BUT. He should’ve at least been more aggressive.. deegan came right back, with more aggression & Levi was pretty damn close to having enough of a bobble to fall heading into the whoops. That would’ve ruined his night…
They beat him it what 1 race?
Pit Row
For bringing facts to the table and pointing out your unfounded assumptions about what will happen to Haiden Deegan in the 450 class?

I wasn't saying he isn't riding great or doing great, I was just playing your game. I guess I didn't understand the rules.
well last time he wasnt nice, he took both of them out. the two top guys going at it for the win, racing hard maybe even dirty I can look past. But when the guy whose DNF'ing and not even in the title conversation is trying to yardsale the points leader cus he's jealous that shit is lame.
Deegan is an idiot…I don’t like his (his father’s) schtick…playing up the villain, the arrogance, poking other riders…I don’t like it…but that’s my opinion.
With that said…the dude can ride a dirt bike…he is just fun to watch ride…so much talent…the racing is more interesting with him on the track…so I’m glad he’s out there, and I hope he can battle Jett on 450’s (someone has too, otherwise it’s going to be a really boring next 10 years of racing).
Yes you are
Would you consider what Barcia has accomplished on a 450 a successful 450 career for Haiden? Unless something goes terribly wrong, he will obviously be a regular front runner and most likely get some wins. I think the better question is will he win titles on a 450 and consistently beat Jett and the others. Some on here act like it’s a foregone conclusion, which it isn’t.
Jett needs to finish a season before we talk about him battling anybody.
Agreed.
Shimoda certainly did beat him for the SMX championship, I stand corrected. In one of the three championships they raced together last season. A three race series, where Deegan was taken out of one race by a competitor. I do think most times Deegan had Shimoda and Davies covered though. For now, maybe Davies makes a jump this year? Might be cool if he does. I really forgot about Davies.
I certainly don't think anything in Deegan's future is a foregone conclusion, but I also don't think riders with 10 years of factory rides and multiple top 5s in championships are failed careers either. I think the career Barcia has had anyone should be happy with, wins, wealth, fame, maybe not championships but still very successful. Deegan beating Jett, Hunter, Chase, Webb, Roczen, Tomac is a big ask, but beat Plessinger, Stewart, Cooper seems plausible. And those riders have had good pro careers. Not every good pro rider wins multiple championships, look at Windham.
If Jett is in the race it’s a forgone conclusion that he is going to win…I hope Deegan can change that…that’s all I’m saying.
Thats right and those 2 riders when they were on 250's were taking riders a lot more than deegan did.
