So headed on our south trip in a week and a half or so. We usually will hit club, county line, JWTF, west craven and cow branch. However, if the weather is a bit nippy we thought about going a little further south. Any recommendations on places open during the week in Georgia? Didn’t really want to trek all the way down into Florida from Pa.
I guess the bigger question is; how far must you haul South to get out of this freezer we’ve been in and, seemingly will continue to be frozen within, for the next few weeks. (?).
I would love to get out of this hell that has frozen over.
It was 4 f this morn here in central Ohio, long range predicts not much change in next three (3) weeks. I’m going bonkers. Should’ve stayed on the farm, should have listened to my old man. Or found me a rocknroll band, that needs a helping hand….

The chill has even reached south Florida….you guys would probably kill for 50 degrees..😂

Yeah I'd kill for 50... was -1 here in Glenville this morning!
I'm doing the Sumter enduro. Might not have a lot of fun after an hour or so, but it's a great way to get in shape.
I'd kill for 0 at this point. We've been in the negatives (for highs) for the last 2 weeks, which is normal this time of year but Im still not happy about it.
Southern Traing Facility, have not been but heard great things?
-4 here in Northeast Pa this AM. If we can get to 50s in North/South Carolina I’ll be just fine with that. Just want a contingency plan. Doesn’t seem like there’s a whole lot in Georgia maybe? Especially during the week?
Thanks for that Dennis...lol
I'm 15 miles from JWTF, it's not going to be anything close to 50 this weekend, unusually cold for us.
Sorry…😎
I live in SE Georgia and there is a track that I frequent near Allendale SC called Paradise MX. If you contact them they will usually open during the week because they have people training there anyway. You can contact them on Paradise MX on Facebook, the phone # is on the Facebook page.
They have 2 tracks, an amateur track that is mostly clay and a training track that is more difficult with mostly shallow sand. Both tracks are fun in different ways. They also have a kids track, a corner track and a woods loop, but I have never ridden them so I can't comment on them.
It will be cold this weekend but by next Wednesday the temp will be back to the mid 50's and mostly sunny. If the sun is out and the wind low it feels much warmer than the actual temp in the winter here.
Other than Paradise there aren't many tracks open during the week that I know of until you get in the Cairo Ga. area.
Good luck.
Just get some studded tires and go out for a ride😎
AZ is about the only place that escaped this one!
-24 C today buddy, and over .5m snow on the ground.
I rode over the weekend but had to stop every 5 minutes to warm my hands, even with big winter gloves and elephant ear hand guards. It wasn't worth it, much better to head south.
That's too cold 🥶 We had only -10 C last weekend but anything colder than that is bit too much.
Luckily we haven't got too much snow here in western part of Finland so we didn't need to clear snow from track before riding. Some enduro guys who prefer to ride in snow ruts are bit disappointed from lack of snow though
I live in middle Georgia (30 minutes south of Macon) in Perry and it's been cold (for Georgia) for a week. Today it will stay in the 40s. It looks like it will continue next week. I was going to go work on my property today but I hate the cold. No snow so I can't really complain.
No tracks around here that are open during the week. Echeconee MX is 40 minutes north of me (not to far from the Triumph facility) but they are only open for practice 2 or 3 times a year and only on the weekend. 10 Mile MX is in Cadwell 1 hour east from me but they are only open on the weekends.
That's why I bought some land so I can have may own small track I can make it the way I want.
Good luck.

Thanks guys. We may push it back a few weeks to let it warm up if need be.
Not the best illustration I’ve seen in the last 24 hrs about what’s coming this weekend but it’s the quickest one I could find. Saturday is the day everyone is watching out for.
You know you can’t hold me forever
I didn’t sign up for you
We weren’t planning on this weekend. Following one
My bad 🤦😎
Mid 70s this week. Not horrible.
