This is what I’m saying. Split screen in of itself is not inherently bad (they should use it much less though imo), but the amount of unused space there is on the screen when they use split screen really messes up the viewing experience. If theyre going to make the images so small then they should only ever use it in cant miss situations. It seems like now a days they use it half the race.
People buy large tvs so they can see all the action, then that screen space gets wasted with the split screen with 2 tiny screens and a bunch of blue background. There has to be a better way.

Maybe if the aspect ratio doesnt work right and thats why they have to make em so small they could put the images side by side instead instead of one over the other. It seems like it would fit a lot better onto the screen since screens these days are much wider than they are tall. Idk just kicking around ideas. If they do that they could make the rider box transparent or even just run it as a scrolling feed across the top or bottom like weve seen plenty of times in mx.
just watched moto 2 450's and it was bad. I'm trying to watch Jett come through the pack and they have a battle for third split screened😖

the split screen is horrible. the talking head boxes during a heat or race are horrible. WillC droning on and on and on is horrible. RC is horrible.
Please Peacock give us the option of muting the commentary and just hear the bikes.
Why everyone complain about everything. If they never did split screen you guys would complain when they don’t capture something important. Split screen could be adjusted to cover more of the screen but it’s obviously a great thing for multiple battles. Obviously wouldn’t want it for the whole race but when there is a bunch going on it’s nice to have multiple different battles to watch!
I agree 100%. 72" tv is great with full screen racing action. When you cut that down to two13" screens, one with a close battle for first and one with an uninteresting battle for seventh, it really makes me wonder what the hell they're doing in the production booth. At least they didn't cut way from the action this week to show a rider playing piano while the main event is going on....
Anyone notice how Ricky C. can't pronounce DiFrancesco. He says Di Fran"cisco'....instead of "sess co" Also...he calls Moisman "Mosy" man........Other announcer was saying them correctly. 😒😒😒

Last night (A2) was horrible.
And worst of all, they STARTED the split-screen right when the battle for the lead heated up. Multiple times.
Unbelievable.
The spilt screen is really shit especially when you watch on a laptop.

I have a 65” tv and they make me squint to see who im watching because they have split it into two 18 inch screens. How can the production team not see how bad that is?

In live TV when you are in the "split screen", you can never have two shots up at the same time, and still utilize the entire real estate of the TV screens at home (that's the reason for the graphics). In order to pull that off, the camera operators would have to alter their framing (live mind you) specifically for "split screen".
It fuckin sucks...there's a battle for the lead and dumbfucks do split screen...
