1. Dungey, simply because he's got so much more momentum than the guys that were dominating before he got on 450s, and I think he's gotten faster than A1 last year.

2. Stewart, because he is James Stewart.

3. Villopoto I think he'll be able to keep it on two wheels this season, but not faster than the two above.

4. Short I just think it's going to be a good year for this guy. I always was a fan, but after seeing the heart he rides with at MXoN, he's one of my favorite riders by far. He's going to make that 350 look great, too.

5. Canard will have an awesome rookie year, but it's going to be stacked.

I think Reed's new team will struggle a bit for it's first season, but he should have some good rides, and fun doing it on his terms. What do you all think?

I'm interested to see what kind of pace Stewart will run at; if he's going to still be wfo or more calm and exploiting situations when he sees an opportunity.

Top three will probably swap top spot throughout the year.

JS (just needs to learn to settle for some seconds and thirds. I think he will)

RV (will do very well this year, but just like Stewy needs to keep it on 2 wheels)

RD (is on fire, and I think the Suzuki is the best bike)

CR (could swap the top spot with the other 3 and will do better that some think)

Trey (will have some very good rides and just be a little off the top pace)

I just have a feeling he's going to have a better than usual season. Can't really explain it.

Yea I haven't forgotten about Weimer, and especially Metty! Watch out for him!

I wonder how much trash talking there will be between RV2 and RD5. Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but to me, it seems that Villopoto genuinely dislikes Dungey. Not just competitive nature, just straight up can't stand him. I'd like to see some back and forth battles like when Dungey kept almost catching Stewart, but it would probably end up looking like St. Louis.

Trash talk between them? ZERO.. Trash talk from RV well that's another story! Its about as likely to see RD trash talk as it is to see TC do it. Those two know they are good riders and don't need to lower themselves that crap.. Although i must admit i would like to see them both give it back once in a while!Wink

Just a thought, when guys trash talk i wonder if they are insecure about their status or chances of winning the title?

Forget crashing for #22 this year. He's on his own team and can't afford that. He will be consistent as hell, top 5 every race for sure.

Hell if I know. Every time I put a list together I go "what about....?" or "What if...?" or "when so and so does....?"

At the end of the year I'm going with Ryan Dungey to win the title followed by:

Ryan Villopoto
Trey Canard
Andrew Short
Chad Reed
James Stewart
Jake Weimer
Mike Alessi
Davi Millsaps
Ivan Tedesco

not nescessarily in that order.

I'm so confused this year.

You know raddad I started to write what I felt about your statements then I thought better of it. I don't know RD & TC Like you seem to know RV, but I do know Ryan Villopoto is quite secure in his chances of winning the title this year. I guess we'll leave the trash talking to the RD5 fans and I'll just wait til the racing begins. Smile Oop! Forgot my top 5> 1. RV(what did you expect) 2. JS(RV hasn't beat him consistently) 3. CR(same as #2) 4. JW(He is riding with RV and is fast) 5. JG(Factory Honda and has the speed)
