Most stacked 450lcq in recent history or ever by rider/team status

Which means a factory rider is likely going to NOT get in through the LCQ, which is really bad. Remember Hunter a few years ago? If you have a bad main, you get a few points and can say it's just first race of the year. If you aren't in the main, yikes!

Could be catastrophic for at least 2 of them, one may not have had as big expectations, but factory is factory.

Or throw them away if it got out of hand.

4 factory bikes in the LCQ.

Will they all make it to the main??

AP got hosed by Webb.  The other 3 need to pick it up.

That's a good one. Was taking a leak and it got out of hand. Don't recall what happened next. 🤣

Had to be cleared by medical…. And he started his heat, so he was slotted in the LCQ.

Disregarding the results, this is easily the best he has ever looked in sx. He's much faster between jumps in the rhythm sections, accelerating harder, and flowing and carrying speed around the track much better, he's almost riding the track like it's an mx sand track. I thought he would be better this year and I was never a hater but this is so far beyond my expectations. Is no one else seeing his improvement in form?

Watching the raw footage yesterday, I thought who the hell is #26?! He was attacking the track and looked elite level. So not surprised today. Prado knows he can run up front so he's got the confidence to get great starts. I saw Vialle's first SX in person and he was fast so long as he could use his preferred line and hit his marks, but elsewhere on the track & things could snowball. The advantage SX vets have over Prado is being able to ride anywhere on the track and make something of it, or at least not lose much or crash. Usually people develop that poise in the 250 class, so Prado has to get there against a much higher level of riders. He will be vulnerable in this year in first-lap scrums and going through lappers, but he can learn. I thought a lot better of him after seeing him develop past holeshot & wide bike guy in MXGP. Hope he and the other guys stay healthy, it's a lot of different types of racers going well this year--

Geez, Chambers coming in like a hypersonic Camporese seeking missile there in the last corner. That would've been violent if it connected

450 never suited Nichols, some riders are better off making a career out of riding 250s.

I don't disagree, but he looked really good at the start of that heat sitting in 3rd and looking like he was going to pass Webb
