I'm afraid it will be a long year for the 3 Ducati riders...

It will be interesting to see how Barcia and Ferrandis do, against the GP guys, performance wise.

Cairoli said they learned a lot from coming to the US.

As much as it might be a struggle, i am still more likely to buy one than a Triumph that comes from my hometown.

That said, with Ben Watson on the 450, we will see how he goes against his Beta performance in the GP's , he might be in a position to actually get what he wants and needs out of the bike, rather than have a Kawasaki he couldnt change , or a Beta that just didnt have what it needed despite lots of talk it would be there.

On paper Beta look stronger than 2025, we be interesting to see how that goes.

It will probably be even more difficult for Ferrandis and Barcia to perform in US Supercross with the Ducati... Time will tell.

There are two Reisulis brothers. Karlis Alberts (older) was racing in MX2 gp's tgis year already. Janis Alberts Reisulis is the talented one of a decade talent like Jett, Deegz and K-Roc, Herlings and Prado. He really has a lot of skill and the work ethic. Also they have a third brother Reisulis riding the 85's. He started last year and I am pretty sure that this year will be his breakout year also. As last year he was slow. But his style and work ethic is there. So you will hear about Janis this year, mark my words. He has been a standalone guy in EmX125s and this year he was the guy to beat in EMX250

Early yes, but he remainds me a lot of the 16 year old Ken Roczen or Paulss Jonass.

Those legends are un comparable - but he just remainds me of someone else, a world champion maybe in the future, but he definitely has something, that so many others just don't

I remember watching Karlis in MX2 at the end of 2024 and he looked so good on the bike. Perfect technique, smooth and fast, and led for a while in Switzerland if I remember correctly. But in 2025 he was barely on TV...

There was not a single yamaha guy in the picture in europe, not in mxgp and in mx2. I remember Elzinga, cause he was ramming Sascha and DeWolf when getting lapped and Benistant had a couple of top 5 races, but the rest - SAD.

I just cannot figure out, how the star effort is a powerhouse (bikewise) and the Kemea bikes are like the drool of a buffalos mouth.

Efficient in the miles per gallon statistic maybe.

That star 250 engine pulls and revvs. The european bikes drown and whine

Star is a little overrated IMO. Atleast in outdoors. Deegan is amazing in terms of results. Other than that, no other rider on that team are really putting any significant results on the board.

Point standings:

2025 mx the next best Star guy was Mosiman in 13th - 1 podium for Mosiman (4-4) and 1 podium for Martin other than Deegan

2024 mx the next best Star guy was Smith in 9th. - no podium for any Star rider other than Deegan.

2023 mx was good year with Cooper 2nd, Deegan 4th and Kitchen 5th.

2022 mx best result Cooper in 4th, next best Trasher in 8th.

is there a difference in noise regulations between the US and MXGP? Because what i kept hearing during the season is that the changes in noise regulations that were implemented by MXGP in 2025 caused a lot of issues for the Yamaha 250 that they could not get right.

Outdoors, only Deegan is a big step above. But not the others Star Yamaha riders.

He definitely looks more confortable than Herlings did in his first couple of videos on the honda. Maybe that’s why he waited a little bit more to post his. And arguably the change from a honda to yamaha is less drastic then from a ktm to a honda.

As much as I agree, he’s probably been riding a blue bike on his private track for a little while now.

Anyone with knowledge, is this a 2025 or 2026 frame? Because with Cooper Webb there is another rider who openly states that he is more comfortable on the 2025 frame. Beside the engine problems probably the biggest challenge for KEMEA Yamaha last season. They tried 2024, 2025 and custom frames...

Renaux rode partially last year with a 2022 frame...
