Interesting take on the situation. If Jason is a friend of Jorge's than there could be something to it. Yah there are things You can point out that puts holes in the theory , but it is plausible. We can revisit this thread after a few rounds of Outdoors and see how Jorge is doing on the KTM.
The way they were working on signing Chase so early on does make it seem like they did not have confidence that Jorge was going to be a race win and title contender and that Kawasaki might have thought that he was a second tier rider for now. Perhaps hoping to build him into the premier lever racer over years and have Sexton while Jorge is building? Signing Chase or trying to sign him so early on makes me think there could be something to what Jlaw is saying.
Or maybe Jorge started to give up when he heard about Sexton joining the team? And got it into his head that Kawasaki wasn't doing as much as they were. And those thoughts snowballed into what we saw. Perhaps Jorge started to not trust the word of Kawasaki after they had told him he would be THE GUY, and then months later before any gate drops, Kawasaki is talking to Sexton. I could see how that could be a reason for Jorge to have doubts in his mind over what Kawasaki was saying and doing.
It will be interesting to see how both he and Sexton do now that they swapped teams. I think that their new teams and bikes will work better for both of them. Chase seemed to give up on KTM a few times. A couple of his crashes looked like he just quit mid jump and fell off. They looked odd. From the outside looking in, it looked like both riders had moved on mid outdoors. Sexton seemed to try until he didn't, like something would happen that he could feel with the bike and he would think" Not again WTF" and then crash out of the moto.
The brand swap should allow both riders to be faster and more comfortable than last season and that should be good for us fans and spectators of the sport. I'm hoping for a return of Jorge's speed and comfort level to how he was when he came over on the Gasgas. And that Sexton can get comfortable quickly on the KX and not sign a new deal halfway through the season again.
Kawi, like any manufacturer/team, probably wants all of their riders to yield the best race results possible.
If 1 of their riders is winning / performing better, I doubt they actively shun/neglect their other signed rider(s), much less sabotage them, although there's been numerous examples where said other-signed-riders have felt that way, likely out of frustration (Mitch having Ricky's cylinder/equipment swapped onto Ping's bike in practice to prove that "The RC Show" wasn't taking place at PC).
How is JLaw nearly one year behind on this topic?
Time will tell. The real possible looser in this whole situation is Chase. He and Kawasaki got a lot to prove, and unfortunately Chase has shown he’s not great at handling pressure in the past.
Kawasaki NEEDS Chase to prove that their bikes aren’t shit and that Prado was way off base. Chase NEEDS to be better than he was in the KTM. Both parties have a lot to prove and aren’t in the position to have a “learning year,” and their #1 rider has a history of making huge mistakes when the pressure is on.
Prado only has to do better then he did last year and that should be obtainable.
The expectations and pressure in that Kawasaki rig are at an all time high.

I do agree with you, BUT, if Chase is unable to do well, does he tell the press that “Jorge was right!” ??
Probably just ran out of dope and became coherent.
Kawasaki has had two potential A riders since Ward and Lechein all the way to AC and Anderson. And Prado states in his Weege interview he isn't training with Aldon, and doesn't want to.
Did he say Kawasaki signed Chase in March? I guess that can explain some of the backward hat stuff...
Partial truths here.... the rest of the story is Kawasaki spent all Prado's budgeted money developing the new two strokes.
PUKE 🤮, go post on your other account Mikey.
Naw, I like this one.
I must of really hurt your feelings somehow, because you follow me around like a scorned high school girl.
He didn’t sign in March.
i think there is a mobile home in new jersey that misses him
At the very least it brings up a lot of questions.
See kids, drugs are bad.
Disparaging trailer life on this forum doesn't get received well, trust me.
Best post in here!
I’m wondering exactly what kinda of tea leaves are used for the “psychic readings” that are goin’ on amongst all these inquiring minds…
Thankfully, A1 is next week 🤣
Only in your dreams ! - you are not even relevant anymore, just the king of bullshit.. The least you could do is swap your avatar pic with an actual pic of you on the 125 honda from 1984 in the novice class and not use a former pro's pic and pretend it's you, I don't see anybody else on here doing that.
Pit Row
But, dude, that is an awesome pic of a Full Floater. It really is. 👍🏼
Mmmkay Mr. Mackey
Maybe the real issue is that Tickle was smoking George around the practice tracks and broke his winning spirit
I know Manny, those early 80's RM full floater's were great bikes and that is a great pic of gary!
Needs to get off the Glass BBQ that bloke.
I bet he asked Kawasaki for help and they said no and now he is throwing a mantrum and bad mouthing them.
Jones?
What’s the saying? It takes one to know one…
What I can tell you is that both here, and on the Supercross.com forum years back, the info coming from the Uptite account has been the most accurate of information from any account. And, when someone else has had more recent information, Uptite has been quick to to acknowledge.
Is there more than one person posting on the account? Who cares?
I don’t expect Sexton’s A1 performance will tell me much about Jorge’s time at Kawi. If Sexton wins, well, he was supposed to with Jett out and had plenty of time to get ready. If he crashes, well, that happened at KTM too. Only if Sexton was close to Jorge in the final (without crashing) would there be some validation of the Kawi has fundamental flaws that the team is not able to overcome for Jorge or Chase
I heard on Pulp that expectations for Jorge in SX are top twelve. If he runs around there in SX and makes the whole season I’d say he met expectations too. MX is really where expectations are high. IMO top 3 with moto wins.
There is only one person on that account. He gets his info from his old high school buddy T Alessi, so some of his info is accurate i'm sure. My issue is with his whole charade of who he actually is in relation to what he has said. I've been on these sites/forums for 20 years so iv'e seen his b.s. too.
Bowman.
I was faaast in the novice class tho.
