Off season fun. Only rule is it has to be a production car.

I'll go first, 90's in my opinion, are a little tough..

It’s real Anglo-Americana and it all came from a little shop in SoCal…in ‘63…and it was the original good looking “Ace” based car as shown…small block and amazing handling.

What most people know as a “Cobra” is the ‘65 race-roadster look with the side pipes and the NASCAR sourced 427.

Even with unlimited funds this is what I'd build or buy. I don't think other than a '69 Z-28, there is a car I'd actually want to own, just not a car guy at all.

1960 was not a banner year for style but if I did choose one it would be a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta

I’m a simple guy. Although I appreciate them, I couldn’t ever get into cars, something about being limited to the street never fit me. If I wanted speed on the street, I got on something with 2 wheels. IMG 0295 3.jpeg?VersionId=wnR2bj2

1st year of proper EFI.

The last year of the straight axle.

Note: I’m assuming those are EFI bagels on the extra-cab…if not…could be an ‘84.

Already have it. '74 Bronco, 302/C4. Picked it up in 1998 from a longtime family friend, drove her for 30k more until the original 302 put a rod out the side of the block in 2001. Just waiting a few more years to retire so I've got the time to start rebuilding her back up. Slowly piling up the needed parts on shelves. '89 Mustang MAF 5.0 HO already sitting under the hood ready to come back out and get freshened up.20241209 162356

It gets weird, the first model year was 1970. But they don't have vin#s, but serial numbers. The first imported was US90-100122644.jpg?VersionId=pKchXlC7zZe3by2OiXJTrsH

‘84 with the 22R. The badges say “Toyota 4WD”. Here’s the link to where I pulled the pic. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-toyota-4x4-pickup-18/ Sold for $23k.

I had an '86 with the hockey stick graphics on the sides, xcab, manual, 4wd, bucket seats, sunroof, basically as loaded as you could get, save for a turbo. That really was a great truck.
