I believe I saw on social media they're already laying dirt down in the stadium, maybe getting a jump on the build?

Sure wish the overlords would stop manipulating the weather.

Don't they have monster trucks this weekend? Dirt going in now is likely for that show

Does this mean Jett has a shot at the title still?

this has been the norm for years now, SD as well normally rainy. My friends that still live there won't even go to SX there anymore. The early CA rounds should be rescheduled for later in the year for best fan experience and less threat of bad weather.

Can we just preemptively make a mudder thread for each round ahead of time and get it over with?

Look at the predicted rain totals for each day. It basically eliminates the need for a water truck.

See you turkeys at A1.

This is silly.  Tell us how many So Cal mudders there have been as a % for the last 10 years.

Its an "Atmospheric river" type of winter. All the west coast rounds may see rain. Look what happened in Washington in the middle of December.

But never take weather advice from Vital, please consult your trusted weather provider.

This is just becoming part of the SX countdown, every time we are 2 weeks out there is a BIBLICAL forecast, then come race day it’s dry as nuns beef curtains..

So we're due for another Perfect Storm!

I went in 05. Even a semi wet track would have made for an epic race. Then San Fran 06 ? When RC and JS7 lapped everyone on another slop fest.

Last SoCal SX I was at was San Diego 2024...  A kinda mudder.  The AP win and Jett/Anderson melee.  That was a night...  I think RJ was wildly faster on his 250 than anyone else, but fell like 4 times.  And AP just got out front and stayed out of trouble.  Eli had lots of trouble and Jett was probably fastest, just couldn't pass "everyone".

Plenty of time to build and cover it if they have to.
