Deegz has some work to do over the course of a 20 min main if he wants to hang with the big 3 (Jett, Chase, and Eli) imo. Top 10s Yaa, but not the top 5 imo.

Interesting comments regarding his and Roczen’s different riding styles requiring a different setup. I think this was also the case at Kawi and why it didn’t work for Prado.

Hoping thie WSX series results in us seeing a rejuvenated Ando at A1.

Homeboy just coming back from not riding all summer.  The bike is good, the team is good.  This should be a fun time to watch Jason.

Enjoyed the racing. Watched specifically to see how Deegan would stack up but it was good to see Anderson doing well on a new bike.

Kenny looked smooth and effortless.

It’s strange to make sweeping generalizations about Haiden’s 450 career based on a one-off race (not you personally, but reading the comments), with very little time on the bike where Deegan more or less was out there having fun.

Do you really think Haiden won’t improve with more seat time on a 450?

It took Eli Tomac several years before he won his first 450 title. He entered the class in 2014 and didn’t win his first 450 title until 2017 after Dungey retired. RC didn’t win a premier sx title for three years because he spent the first two on the ground trying to catch McGrath.

Deegan is a rider who builds. His rookie 250 season was a building season as will be his rookie 450 season. Brian is a lot smarter than most here at vital give him credit for, and they have very specific goals and a POA for Haiden.

Yet after one event, with short motos, two fried clutches, and bad gate picks some people have written him off as a legit contender in his 450 career.

Makes me wonder how many actually follow the sport and its history.

Bringing this show on the road is such a great opportunity for fans outside the US

1. 11 Whoops were just fine.

2. The speed of the show was nice. Not a whole lot of downtime and talking. Made me feel like I was watching local racing. I wonder if one more class would be helpful for the show.

3. All of the extra scaffolding, managers towers, trucks, boats and other useless shit around the track in Supercross is completely unnecessary.

4. The camera crew did a good mixture of down low shots to see the riders intensity but then some panned out shots so you could see 1st-5th in one shot.

I'm waiting or the fringe media to report Deegan wasn't allowed to have the factory parts on his bike and that is why he didn't win.

Feld can learn alot from this production. Great racing, good track - better than some SX tracks. Whoop section was great. Can't just full blitz - when JCoop when into "jump mode"  - you know they have to be difficult. In the US there are whoops that turn into jumpers - because they are so limited at 9 whoops you don't lose so much to the blitzers. Increase the # of whoops and it increases the penalty to jump vs skim.

Vital is often like Statler and Waldorf of the Muppets just rolling along as the critics of SX and MX. Many people have crystal balls when it comes to the riders.

Wow, you are a Muppets scholar for knowing what "The two old dudes sitting in the balcony" names are. Next thing you will drop is that The Swedish Chef had an actual first name on the show. How about the purple guy playing sax in the band? 🤣 President of The Jim Henson fan club posts at Vital, who knew? 🙃

This guy right here is the Beeker of SX

I was just basing it off of him getting beat by Kenny and the time gap he got beat by in a short race and him lining up at A1 like that. Deegz wants to beat Jett not battle for a top 10. I’ve followed the sport for a long time and know its history, I also know Kenny won a outdoor title in his rookie year on a 450, MC did, Dung did, RV and Stew won races, Jett won right away. Tomac won 450 races in his first year outdoors. There’s no slow build right there lol Deegz wants to beat in that company.

Mcelrath maybe should praise the lord a bit lesser and focusing on riding. Man he looked like the new Friese out there… not a good look for a decision on who’s going to ride US SX since Craig looked great!

Roczen swept the night and Deegs landed 3rd overall both as wildcards.

What are the chances that they stick around for the entire series?

I think Roczen is in for Vancour but Deegs not. He is scheduled to race the Oz round right?

Yes, Roczen is not a wildcard, he's racing the whole championship while Deegan is only racing Australia now.

Roczen might not race the entire series. If he doesn't, I wonder who will replace him for those rounds..

On pulp Kenny himself said he only races selected rounds and even Emig and Ralph said multiple times on the broadcast that Anderson and Savatgy will likely be the guys for the title since Kenny isn't there every round. I can only repeat what I hear, for sure kinda weird there is no confirmation or WSX showing him not as a wildcard on their website though.

Yes in fact it's not that clear if Roczen will race the whole season.
