RC stated in his DMXS interview that has a lot of respect for Dungey, Poto, and Reed, but points out that James is still the favorite and man to beat.

So you can read RC's mind.

Stewarts mind is to weak to win the Title.

And RV has lost some of his bravery.

The only thing more stupid than your post is my replying to it.

I agree

He has the experience, he is hungry for wins. And he may have actually matured. He did beat dungey straight up at A1 and at Phoenix he was injured. We will just have to see at A1.

We also don’t know how dungey will do compared to all the new competition. There’s so many strong people coming this year, people switching rides and moving up to the big bike.

If I had to bet on someone right now it would probably be James. I’m just hoping he doesn’t get hurt. He normally has years when he gets hurt then right after he has years that he does good.

Dungey does nt have time for the internet predictions , he s too busy polishing all his championship plaques and trophys LOL!

Of course on paper we all would have to agree that JS is the favorite but paper tends to not mean to much in our sport. I think RC has to just go by what he knows and when he left JS was BY FAR the fastest guy on the track. RC , like the rest of us, has never lined up vs. the rest of the field (minus CR and RV at MXdN) so it's got to be hard for him to gauge. He also said that RV will for sure , with Aldon Baker in his corner, be a title contender as well so I guess we'll just have to see.

I will say i agree though. Until JS , or anyone else for that matter , shows us differently he has to be considered the odds on favorite. It's a good thing they have to race first before the title is awarded though.

My prediction is RV will be 2011 champ with RD a close 2nd . I think with someone like James if either one of those two beat him straight up he'll mentally fall apart. That's just my opinion so try not to shred me for it.

My prediction is that James takes A1, on the assumption that he started training for SX while the rest of the gang was still finishing the MX season... If anything, he won't show up with a mis-dialed bike like he did at Unadilla.
And in case anybody doubt my championship predicting abilities, I had Alonso winning the F1 title this year. Wait, never mind...

Olger honestly thinks that Bubba is not the favorite.

RC said that JS7 is the man to beat, because Bubba promised him some facetime on his new Lifetime channel TV show.

I think if bubba races every round he will win 8-9 races... that being said, Dungey won 6 last year and a championship.

Makes me wonder, who has won the least amount of races in the premier class and still won the title?

Didn't someone like Broc Glover or O'show win the title in 83 or 84 and they never won a single race?

Yep, and if you bet against him every season he's started on a big bike, you'd have won a lot more times than you'd have lost. And you'd have probably got decent odds, especially from some of the nuthuggers on Vital.

Nope you get injured and are off for a year and your no good anymore, just ask Goerke, can't even get a ride. Angry James will be bringing his sack to A-1 in a wheel barrel doing shit no one would even think of in rythm sections ect....than Chad will have to do them...those 2 champions are still the favorites until proven other wise.

Im suprised RC would say this. Dungey is on top of his game and very consistant. James on the other hand seems to wad it up on occasion. If was in Vegas throwing money down on the title winner, I would feel much more comfortable with my stamps being on Dung Beetle.

I agree, he is the favourite... But he still has to finish the series... He's got a good record if he does, but that's why they run the races...

With the solid year Dungey had in SX & MX I’d say he is the odds on favorite, that is until A1 and we all see what Stewart has. JS hasn’t raced SX in almost a year come A1 and his brief outdoor excursion really showed how unprepared the bike set up was and if I remember correctly bike set up was a problem at the beginning of the SX season as well. Stewart has to prove himself as the favorite, meanwhile Dungey has been racing as the favorite even thou many didn’t consider him as such.

Didn't Dungey lead 17 or 18 laps at A1 2010 before Stewart made the pass?

No matter what, when the circus comes to A1, its gonna be a mad house!

Unless he dominates practice/heat race/final, expect to see him gone by round 4.

Huge RC fan here but IMO he isn't gonna go on there and tell everybody Dungey is gonna kill everybody again this year (even though that's what he is probably thinking since he is Team Suzuki's Advisor) He has caught some heat in the past from a lot of rider's about kissing Dungey's ass during the TV telecast and Dungey having access to his Farm.

RC doesn't give a rats ass what anyone thinks about what he says. Not you, me, Suzuki, or anyone else. He say's what he feels. His opinion is based off what he has seen with his own eyes.
Zackly what he said man up and realize Stewart is as fast as they come get used to it it's gonna be a 60% js7 20% kw14 and 20% rv2 season!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, nobody respects Dungey, not even the guy who owns the land he practices on.

I think Ryan will be more motivated than ever this year, just to make a point.

When a rider crashes out trying to keep up (RV) or gives up (JS at Unidilla) isn't that straight up?

One thing for sure, if the fastest guys stay healthy, this year could be one of the best ever.

Dungey is digging this boys! He has yet another chance to fly under the radar b/c of this whole fastest man on the planet shit, and RV coming back healthy, and Reed coming back healthy. He couldn't ask for a better scenario.

I'll take Dungey on that Suzuki, with Goose-thank you very much. These guys shit winning after a cup of coffee each morning.
