Coldenhoff 2026

No MXGP ride for him so it seems, ive read he has said about he would love to do an outdoor season.

I think he would do well for an outdoor team looking for solid results, any news or rumours where he could go?

There were some rumours about HEP Suzuki for outdoors, but not sure how that is materialized. I also saw some rumours about him going to KTM Brasil.

It's a shame, he is one of the most respected and hard working guys in MXGP. Definitely a likeable personality

I hope he can land something in the US.  If nothing else, surely an outdoor spot would open up if he can stay on form.  Not everyone is going to be healthy after supercross, we all know that.

Crazy to think he could end up in Brazil. What does that say about the teams in MXGP/US?

There will always be a fill in guy needed sometime somewhere but i understand he is not to excited for that.

Cant blame him for going to Brazil, a 8 race deal for 100-150K is not that bad.

Coldenhoff can't be without a ride for 2026!

Story Time - Glenn Coldenhoff - Moto-Related - Motocross Forums / Message Boards - Vital MX

I wrote a short story at the end of the 2019 season. Fast forward a few years later, he did continue to improve his results and added a few race wins to his career. It's a shame that he always walked in the shadow of Herlings. As a Dutch guy I have the feeling that he is well respected by the Dutch fans, but a lot of people still underestimate his career results and consistency.

I guess Coldenhoff also has some requirements about the bike? I mean if i'm Beta i'd prefer to run 1 rider with Coldenhoff over running both Geerts and Elzinga (and spend the money saved on running 1 rider on Coldenhoffs salary).

I’d love to see him race the US nationals, if that’s what he wants. He’s had a great career and should be able to get a solid ride on either side of the pond.

If he doesn't have anything lined up now, I would think there's still hope. You know how Supercross grinds 'em up....hate to be that guy but there likely will be a fill-in seat come outdoors.

In the heyday, he'd be a great addition to the series.  Contender and make good money like Milsaps did.

If you dont realize he would totally dominate that series i just dont know…

Coldenhoff on a great prepaired Kove 450 could go perfect season in 2026 Can MX!

I’d rather see him do that, than retire or without a ride?

Many a great American and international rider has come up to Canada, with limited success?  Is coldenhoff better than world champ, and two time sx title winner Pourcel?  He didn't walk away with the crown.

Again, its not what it was, but some serious talent has ridden up here and they all say dang, the Canadians ride pretty fast at home.

Pourcel wasn't even trying that year. He was just cruising...

He is just at the age , where a long term deal isnt likely, there are loads of great riders coming through, but only Coenen was good enough to beat him in the points, out of those guys.

He will want decent money , else he isnt going to take risks to make it worth his or the team's effort.

I just saw a youtube short from Matty B of Pettis and, I believe, Racine at an off season money race. They were RIPPING. Amazing technique and style from Pettis.

With the exchange rate, Racine made 16k CAD and Pettis made 11.5k. CAD.

Maybe we should compare Coldenhoff with Phil, who won this year and 11th in AMA last year?

He was close to getting signed with HEP for outdoors 26’ but they couldn’t come to a deal.

Really would be cool to see him at the nationals next summer. It sounds insane to say considering he got third in MXGP but maybe he should consider the privateer route. Surely he could get some bigger sponsors behind him to help.

It’s a money related thing and Glenn doesn’t race if he doesn’t get paid well enough. I respect that stance and more riders should have the same approach towards teams. I honestly don’t see him going the privateer route.

Kawi has his number on speed dial. They know Chase's mental game gets obliterated whenever he has a shot at the title and there's a healthy Lawrence brother on the gate. 🍿

I was thinking the same. It`s been many years (2017) since Pourcel didn`t win.

I know what Glenn is capable of. It was Flatliner who asked if he was better than Pourcel, since Pourcel didn`t win the Canadian championship long time ago. I just meant it would be more correct to compare Glenn with this year`s winner, since the level is not the same. If Phil can win in Canada, then Glenn can win.
