who wins it outdoors in their prime 4 motos takes all. one race US and one in EU

If everyone was on equal/modern equipment, it's RC. If you're talking about just how fast they were in their prime on past equipment, it's Jett easily simply because bikes are so much better today.

RV and RC trade moto wins. (angry rangas = +10 intensity)

Herlings and Stew crash while chasing down the leaders. But setting fastest lap times.

Everts & Gasjer pull top 2 starts each moto's, but just a tick off the top pace.

Tomac going beast mode after a dead last start, but struggling with traction and unable to close the gap to the leaders

Jett some how walks away with the title and overall. (Don't ask how.. the kid just magically walks away from venues with wins and i swear he has won overalls in just about every way possible, even when it doesn't look possible haha)

Peak Tomac is the start of the 2015 nationals before he blew out both his shoulders at Lakewood. 5 1/2 motos of the biggest ass whoopings ever seen. Which of these guys could have changed that?

Does anyone remember what the injuries were exactly to #3 shoulders? Getting a rotator cuff reattached in a couple weeks .

😆 Good one I can see it going down like that. I'll add Herlings winning a moto in europe.😆

and the tilte fight is between RC and Jett.

My memory failed me a little. Hangtown moto 2 he made everyone look like novices and won by 1:31,  the other 4 motos were runaways but not ridiculous like that one.

2015 Tomac vs. 2024 Sexton vs. 2004 RC at Hangtown.

Can you imagine.

Slight correction. Dungey and Tomac raced in 6 450 championships together. Tomac only beat Ryan once and that was when Ryan fell and broke his neck. People don't give Dunge enough credit. He didn't give Eli trouble. He was straight up better. (I didn't count the comeback after 5 years).

yeah, he did.. and one of the greatest rides with out a doubt. (need to clarify Tomacs ride was amazing and insane)  But he also ended his season early riding at that speed. so im taking the riders who could do it for literally every race for a whole season over Tomac who was only able to do it for 5 motos.

3 riders with perfect seasons on that list. Its hard not to have them same riders as the top 3.

All did 24. Not saying you didn't remember, but Jett did add +2 at the start of the following outdoor season.

I would say toss up between JL and RC. Honestly though Jett could be one of the fastest I’ve ever seen. The one thing about him that impresses me the most is the way he’s passes people when he catches them, it’s insane.

Tomac and his clutch technique has been impressive on slick hardpack tracks. I'm giving him the nod for that reason alone. I do find Gajser underrated, and for the life of me don't get why Cairoli isn't on the list.

If you're putting RV on that list, the Dunge should be as well!

Pretty sure RV had dunge covered outdoors most of the time.

This. RC would out-hammer Eli as well.

Jett has them all on technique and style, which allows him to ride well within his limits. But RC had that ability to push the limit and just never backed down. He could ride in that 110-120% range and somehow not crash; I don't think Jett could do that.

I agree about RC but having seen them both many times...I don't think RC's 120% would beat Jett's 100%...hell, I'm not sure we've even seen Jett at 100% yet.😉

This list is biased, it leaves out Profeshenal 125

Right on bro . I was jumping a ski flying ramp in 6th wo up & down 800 ft . And cliff jumping it sideways doing a 180 to a 800 ft drop. While my French chic was running around the ski hill in just her thong. Trespassing too.  Haha On a 87 cr125 broke the shock in 4 ft whoops too. JMB with his 7 ft mini 180 spins gave me the idea.  Not sure how many on the list can beat the current 125 riders on a 125. RC just bumps it up more then. On a 125 I,m picking RC 1st , Alex Puzar or Dave Stribos 2nd.  I never saw Jett on a 125 . That low to mid 450 makes it hard to judge his let it hang out 125 speed. With some Very unique & special training . I,m sure he could tame the DBP double Boost Port Explosion of lighting quick thrust.

While Jett dominates the current field, i promise Ricky hates losing more than Jett likes winning and would either pressure Jett into a mistake or just push him out of the way. Ricky is relentless and would not be denied.

Jean-Michel Bayle.  He’d beat them all in Supercross and on a street bike, too.

MC would have smoked JMB like he did the rest.

RC was a fucking bull dog.  No argument here.  I just think Jett is the next level...same as Ricky was in his day.

Tomac's biggest flaw throughout his career is, he's never risen above expectations to beat somebody that was perceived as being as good (or better) than him. This is somewhat of a compliment, because there haven't been many riders better than him during his career. But, earlier on, he struggled against Dungey and pre-injury Roczen.. both guys that he had the skill and fitness to beat, but inconsistency and self-inflicted wounds held him back. Now with Jett, he hasn't been able to raise the bar and match him. I can't really hold it against him, as Jett is maybe the best we've ever seen, and Eli is 32. But what made Ricky's career so special to me wasn't just his complete dominance from 2000-2004, but it was also his ability to raise his level and still beat the prodigy that came up to challenge him at the end of his career. I just don't know if I see Tomac actually putting together a good start, staying off the ground, and a perfect bike setup that allows him to beat the other GOATS of the sport.

I lean Jett just because I think he's the most advanced rider we've ever seen, but Ricky might be able to grind and claw his way into beating him. everyone else would be fighting for seconds IMO.

Logic points to Ricky but I can’t help but think Villopoto on a 250f wouldn’t wax every one of them.

I am not sure if most missed the track was euro Hard pack. Being that RV only won at Washougal once. I don't think it was his specialty
