Garrett sticking with 36 is lame. You get a chance at a permanent number and you just run what you earned the year before, not something unique to you or something you have history with.

Beaumer originally said he wasn't taking 13, but changed his mind yesterday.

Garrett does have a history with it and actually said in an interview why he chose 36.

I don't see Wackers on the list. Does that mean Cameron has a 3 digit number in 2026?

That's good news that he's planning to race.  I was under the impression that his most recent injuries were perhaps career threatening.

Yep.  He only scored 20 points this year - 3 points behind Kayden Minear #99.

JuJu throwing a wrench in it for many guys who thought they had a certain number but it does allow Minear to get the 99.

I think a gypsy tale one. Garrett said he’s got the #36 two or three times since he’s went pro I believe.

Him and Pierce Brown are both rocking 3 digit numbers for 2026.

Now I want one to win the East coast, the other the West coast, just so we can see 3 digit riders win. They can then take 6 and 9 for new career numbers. I'll stop now as I can see where this is going.

You can't earn a single digit number by winning a regional SX championship.

Juju with the #13. Bold.  Is the #13 going to be good juju or bad juju?

He said in the AC & JB show a couple of days ago that he told the AMA he wants to hold onto it for another year just in case he gets a bug up his butt or something but it mostly sounded like he just held onto it just because he could and not that anyone was asking to take it.

Do you really think ink printed in a certain shape on a sticker has any sort of affect on the real world?

As a Jesse Nelson fan, #13 on a KTM will always make me think of him. It'll be a cool callback to him, but I would have been pretty hesitant to take that number. I'm not superstitious... but I'm a little stitious.

Superstition? Legend? Belief? This explains why many riders don't choose this number.

I personally have been using the number 13 on my bikes for over 10 years...

I hope he can erase some of the superstition for the #13, I like seeing it out there. The last two had bad luck, especially Jesse. It’s had a little good luck in its day like Heath Voss’ World SX title though.

I think Voss won his world championship before he took #13.

Didn’t Wharton win with the #13 in 2013? I think he did. Other than that, I don’t think anyone’s had good luck with that number. With the hits Jujus taken lately, I wouldn’t mess with the #13.
