They’re a joke of a team. It’s been documented over and over how slow and stubborn they are. They ran off Chad reed and Eli by having their heads up their butts…

In the past 20 years, how many 450 teams have more championships than Kawasaki?  Someone is a joke, and it isn’t the team.

It’s documented but sure keep ignoring it. It’s happened repeatedly.

Tough to argue with results.  Eli sure did a lot more winning on green than he has since.

Fact is, if Jett and Hunter weren't so good, every other rider would be a little bit happier with their bike. The fact that they're both on hondas makes it easier to point to the bike as the advantage.

They ran off Chad Reed... And then...won 6 straight 450 championships with RV.

And then, to prove they were a joke they won 4 450 championships in 5 years with Eli.

Kawi spends millions in marketing they don’t need you guys to do it for free. You’re falling for the same stubborn perspective they take as well. But ok!

I've had to bite my tongue on this issue for a long time but couldn't spill the beans because it would blow my cover.  In a nutshell, he thought he needed to take the extreme measures he did to get out of his contracts because the talks weren't working.  It had been going on for awhile, with some ugly shit going on, and they were making it tough on him and trying to keep him on board....so, he goes out and tries to not qualify to show just how badly he wants to leave.  Not that I agree with this at all, and yeah, like others I think he handled it very poorly. And it was Monster who held out the longest, not Kawi.

With that said, I do believe he'll come back and put in strong results at the front when he gets back on his old steel frames.  He really really wants to beat Jett.  I hope he comes back strong and puts on a good show, but I also realize he created a permanent lifelong negative moniker for himself to a lot of fans out there.  Understandably so.

Hate to break it to you, but he’s not beating Jett, no matter how much he wants to. Indoors, outdoors, a 110 track, Jorge Prado raceway in Spain, a supermoto track, hes not beating Jett lol

Yup, that joke of a team has won more ama 450 supercross and motocross championships than any other manufacturer since 2010.

🙄  Yeah ok. Prado had Spain's first gate pick and got a holeshot. Jett didn't, crashed and still worked his way up. Also, pretty sure this was Jett's first ever 450 race.

Show me the last 22 motos that they raced. Maybe when George realizes he can’t beat Jett on a steel frame he’ll just pack it up and go on home. 🇪🇸

Funny to think about the interview when Dylan left Yamaha saying something like this  "I need to get on that Honda. I've been watching them beat me on that bike. I can win on the Honda." yada yada yada

I also find it very puzzling that some people don’t seem to understand that a bike can work for one person and not another……one of the basics of moto racing; personal setup.
Like wtf people, get a grip.

To be fair, one side is risking money while the other side is risking life and limb.

Moto is a special sport, the rider needs to have utmost confidence in his bike and his team.

I sure don't know what happened here, just saying it's not a stick and ball game.

I didn't say he can beat Jett, I said he really wants to.  Not only because he has a champion mindset and wants to win, but there's also a little beef between the two for something that happened off track.

The only place I think he has a chance to possibly beat Jett is outdoors considering it will take him awhile to come up to speed in supercross.  It's really easy to say no one is beating Jett right now and I agree, but let's not forget Jett is racing in the Senior Citizens class with a 32yr old father of 3 being his closest competition other than Sexton.  Jett could eventually get beat when he has to face some of the up and coming fast kids.  Not sure who it will be, but I do believe Prado might have a chance at beating him outdoors on occasion if all goes well.

I can't imagine how this place will react if either Prado or Deegan is able to put a wheel in on Jett and overtake him.  The vital servers won't be able to handle it.

Pretty certain there are plenty of people on these threads that would swap their stress and worries for Prados. He's not worried about putting a kid through college, health insurance for his kids, a mortgage, student loans, his parents getting alzheimers, no he is fine no matter what. Some people on this sight I would bet are hoping to get caught up on rent so they're family doesn't get evicted, their cancer diagnosis is incorrect or they or loved ones have money for insulin next month. Prado doesn't know real pressure, he is spoiled.

Second, you probably don’t understand what it’s like to pour every ounce of your soul into a tiny hourglass, flip it over when you go pro, and to be up against a ticking clock every second of every day to perform and carve out your legacy with everything on the line.

From his perspective I can easily see how he can be in a literal panic mindset as his value tanks and he loses a precious 10-15% of his effective career window.

people like you who always have to go into the “struggle Olympics” whenever hard times come up are sad. You have your problems - deal with him. This man has his own - he’ll deal with them. Go outside and talk to someone besides yourself.

Plenty of people pour every ounce of their soul into a tiny hourglass, they start a business, go to college, get married, on and on. Prado doesn't have a quarter million in student loans and can't get a job in his field, Prado didn't cash out a 401k and refinance his house to start a business, or put the lives of other people in his hands - like doctors, airline pilots, first responders. He is a spoiled Prima Donna, who shits on his co-workers publicly. He gets paid to do what many people pay to do and doesn't appreciate it.

Some of these takes are crazy. I feel like some of you guys have genuinely never been in a high stress relationship in your life. Whether it’s correct is irrelevant, but Jorge perceived that his career and future were jeopardized and made strong reactions. I support the guy just as much as before.

He did what he thought was best, and was strong about it. Meanwhile fat guys online are mad about it😂

I think most people felt the same way you do. But, then he started specifically blaming the team. Not the bike. The team. That's when everyone turned on him.

If you're going to throw hard working behind-the-scenes people under the bus then you damn sure better be right.

And from his two bike length holeshots, to leading motos, it's hard to believe that it was all the team'  fault.

And, if Chase comes out and podiums at A1.  Then we know it wasn't the team.

What if it is the team? What if it’s a bad fit and both are to blame? Idk man. I’ve learned not to come to conclusions with 10% or less of the information.

Realistically, every single person in this thread is wrong. I just wanna see what’s next and how ktm photos lol.

But the issue isn't the results, it is the effort. So if it was the team not delivering, he would look a lot better and would have maintained his fan base if he would have just tried. I don't even really care that he was blaming the bike, maybe that is true. But to "show up" and not try and qualify, or ride around with one hand on the bars, that turns me off as a fan. Let me be clear about that last statement, I did not say I dislike, hate, or have anything against Prado, I don't know the guy. But I have lost interest as a fan. Is that Ok with you guys, or do I still have to cheer for him because there could be fault at Kawasaki?

Get outta here with those pesky facts!! We'd rather go on what people "heard" and what Prado said.

C'mon, we know Team Kawasaki is the villain here, and you can't win on the bike. Prado said so. And you have to believe him because he's a world champion.

Actual results and facts just get in the way.

C'mon, we know Team Kawasaki is the villain here, and you can't win on the bike. Prado said so. And you have to believe him because he's a world champion.

Actual results and facts just get in the way.

And that same Tomac's dad said on record that they left Kawasaki because the Tomacs felt they had more in them and Kawasaki was too conservative and weren't able to deliver changes that they wanted. And he went on a won more.

So lets just stop pretending that 100% of the blamepie of this shitshow is on Prado. Or at least i hope Kawasaki realizes that, because Sexton wont be easy on them.

And then, to prove they were a joke they won 4 450 championships in 5 years with Eli.

All those championships say a lot about the team. It's been well documented the team was working their asses off for him. I'll stand by my statement that it's 100% on Prado.

So, go ahead and continue to buy the absurd theory that Kawi and Monster paid him millions of dollars, and then didn't give him what he wanted.

Nobody is saying Prado is better than Jett. But saying he'll never ever beat him anywhere is pretty stupid when he's beat him more than almost anybody.

Also ernee wasn't jetts first 450 race. He had a perfect season in 2023. Time flies

Btw, We don't need to wait for Chase to race the KX, lets not forget JA put that bike on the box many times while he was there. Never heard him say they wouldn't give him what he wanted.

That was then, this now!

Prado has nothing for Jett. Imo, he has nothing for Hunter or Chase and I'll even throw Eli in there. But we will see next year.

From today's RacerX JA21 interview........LOL

One more listener question: Did Jason have the same problems that Jorge Prado did on his KX450?
[Laughs] Like I've said, they gave me the fast one. I don't know what his problem was.

Lmfao!! That's classic JA right there.

I could be mistaken, but I seem remember JA catching and passing Prado at a coulpe outdoor races before he had to drop out.
