Joe getting a 2nd was impressive as hell. He wasn't even that far off of Hunter's pace

35th gate pick to a 5th place qualifying position doesn't suck.

Yes, good rebound.  Only JCoop made the start work, but he just seems to find a way.  With Rick and Eli both having to come from WAY back, I think P5 is very good.

USA could win if cooper finishes like 8-10 positions above Webster.

With the NED out, it's AUS, USA, BEL and FRA fighting for the podium and even the win with a little bad luck from AUS.

ESP and ITA not too far off, but I think GER is not going to as well with Spies.

Yea, it's going to be interesting tomorrow. I can see Kenny getting a podium. I think Eli is good for a podium, or at least a top 5. I kinda think it's a stretch to see any US rider winning their class aside from maybe Coop. But if they all get on the box it could be a 2nd or a win if AUS has a couple of bad motos.

Webster rode really well today. But it's definitely possible.

He was ahead of him by like 20 seconds in the qualifying race who knows

Yea, Shimoda is definitely beating Webster, but if Webster gets a top ten that's a tough one unless one of the Lawrences have a bad moto. That being said, you're right, throw in the other class and Webster being outside the top 15 isn't out of the question.

The good thing about the US is they're all podium guys. Can't frickin wait for tomorrow

Ended up 35 seconds behind in a 20 minute moto.  Tomorrow it’s 30 and probably 5-6 450’s that should be ahead of him and behind JCoop.  That’s why this is still close.

Good point, I agree. It's going to get really interesting if Webster does poorly (respectively) and the US has everyone in the top 5. Which is absolutely possible. Hell, even if Coop ends up 7th or 8th and Eli gets in a groove we could be a sneaky win.

I genuinely think each of the US guys could podium, even Coop on the 250...so...who knows. I can't wait.

Then let Monday sort itself out.

Hunter is insanely impressive in person. He's Diet Jett. Webster was also really solid. Coming into the day I thought we had a shot. Seeing Team Australia in action, I dont have much confidence. Belgium probably has a better shot at winning than we do.

Yes, and as we saw last year, Webster got the 1 moto score they needed.

I like BEL to make it close for all teams looking to win tomorrow.

Should be an epic race, possibly one for the ages.

Hopefully tomac had one of his “off” motos today like he randomly does, maybe went the wrong way with a setting and is in a better place tomorrow.

Him not being able to pass Tony is kinda strange.

Right. There is a VIP tent right where the Godzilla landing used to be. It will obviously get changed back to normal after the race. There's another VIP section blocking the view of that spectator tabletop. I've been to the Ironman before and I didn't remember it being such a poor track for spectating. You can really only see that section you're standing at.

I saw a video today and i’m practice the front wheel was off and forks were being changed. I also hope he had an off day today.

This : "I genuinely think each of the US guys could podium"

I was at RedBud MXoN in '22. Cooper was the star of the team if you ask me.  He killed it and I expect nothing less .  Podium chances -100%

The way RJ has been riding that 450 it would be more of surprise to me if doesn't make the podium.  Podium chances - 98%

Love Tomac and hate to say it, but I have to put his chances as 3rd on our team for an overall podium .  Podium chances - 90%

Team USA will be on the podium for sure.  There is a reason we have more than 2x the wins of any other MXoN team.  I like the idea of 24 wins.

Go USA!

Off day for Eli combined with an awful start. He either doesn't have the speed to overcome bad starts anymore or the other guys are just as fast as him now. Its just the reality of who he is at this point
