I really wonder how many of those who are laughing about this situation have watched the video... Especially the closeup version. You can hate him with all your being, but there's just something so visceral about watching a real person's life leave their body in a way that you've only ever really seen in pretend via a movie.
I don't know who would have hated the guy as there wasn't one mean bone in his body. You might not agree with his opinions or beliefs, but to hate him?? Only people who are sick would hate someone like that. He was truly a class act and he represented the type of person we need more of in our society to have open/civil discussions about controversial topics.
And yesterday I realized how much AI has already changed my world, considering when I received the gruesome closeup video by text I didn't believe it and thought it was AI....it wasn't until I google'd it and my heart sunk. We now live in an era where I don't believe what I see unless I verify it's authenticity, which is also very sad.

It just really is disturbing how he was gone in an instant, in front of thousands, on a college campus, on live TV, in Utah of all places.

Agreed I've seen worse videos, but luckily the shooter "missed" and hit him in the neck which turned out to be a lot less gruesome that it could have been. Too bad the shooter didn't miss to one side also and hit him in the upper shoulder, something that he could have survived.

For me in comparison to a head bursting open, it's that his face is still intact and you're just watching the blood and life leave his body. With a headshot, it's the immediate identity loss that makes it a little easier for me personally, it almost becomes more about the gore for me and not the individual. I'm not sure I'm making sense there, it was just really crazy to me to watch it happen like that and exposed how fragile the human body really can be. And perhaps that's just because it's such a recognizable person and not a "stranger." Wild shit regardless.
And the democratic leader of the house in Minnesota was shot and killed along with her husband and dog. You could go on for days with each side slinging examples back and forth and that will do nothing but sow more divide. Violence is non-partisan issue. And attributing it to one side or the other and claiming superiority on whatever side you identify with is dangerous. This is Donald Trump, and Nancy Pelosi’s and Marco Rubio’s and Adam Schiff’s and Fox and MSNBC and Newsmax and CNN’s fault. Our leaders and ‘news’ have devolved into a 6th grade lunch room with less reasoning and impulse control.

He said gun deaths were necessary to uphold the 2nd amendment, he told a Palestinian that Palestinians don't exist, he continually put down black people by saying if one was a pilot he wondered if they were a DEI hire by the color of their skin, hated on gays, etc.
I don't condone any violence like this no matter what the "side". That said, it's very telling that people in here are up in arms over this death and nothing about school children, the Minnesota incident that actually involved someone in government (and her family/dog). People (including the president) are foaming at the mouth to "get back at the left", even without any facts other than someone died.
As far as rumblings/conspiracy theories, it seems Charlie just had come out and said the Epstein files need to be released (I agree). The pedophile president would not be a fan of that kind of talk.

think of the millions of people that were subjected to a snuff video they never sought out or asked for. i'm glad my 5 year old has no ability to accidentally (or purposely) view such material. my 14 year old on the other had had it texted to him from "friends" within an hour of it happening. disgusting that this is becoming the norm.
i can't imagine his children growing up knowing there is a video of their father's life being taken, readily available for anyone to see.

To clarify, we know for a fact that the Minnesota Political assassination was carried out by a democrat who was pissed she just voted against the democrats on a recent vote on ending undocumented adults’ ability to enroll in MinnesotaCare, a subsidized health insurance for the working poor. I'll definitely point fingers. The dems have completely called for this violence against conservative views and they claim they haven't. I can upload the montage of politicians and influencers screaming for violence against their fellow man. Its only going to get worse.
