However I’m still going for Romain, this may be his last opportunity and it’s been very well earned, and I have no doubt Lucas has many titles in front of him.
There is pressure for Febvre because indeed it may be his last opportunity, but then again for Lucas there is also quite some pressure. I mean with a healthy Gajser and Herlings returing next season it's not like it will be an easy task to win the title next year.
True, but that's if everyone stays healthy throughout the season ofcourse. And I expect Coenen to be better next season aswell. Keep in mind he started with an injury and DNF'ed the second moto at Sardegna after winning the first one. Without that DNF and that offweekend at Sweden, he would've lead by now. Or at least the two of them would be within 5-10 points of eachother. Ah well, coulda, woulda, shoulda.
Regardless of who wins it, Febvre, Coenen, Längenfelder or De Wolf, all four of them deserve it.

Good lord that was painful to watch. Turned it into a track of endless singles. And that is likely the level of rider that will fill out the field to a staggering number of 18 riders.
I would imagine it will look a lot different when all the jumps are being jumped. But the whole track looks like you could ride it in 3rd gear.
Shame such a good year of racing is going to finish on 2 or 3 shit tracks (opinion withheld on Oz until the track is shown).

They need to start setting a minimum speed standard for wildcard entries. Some of the Chinese riders last year were running about half the speed of the top riders (and scoring points).
With Herlings and Gajser switching teams, I think he has a decent shot at it, better than if they stayed and were healthy,

To stop riders cutting the turns. It's easy to do on parking lot tracks when the track is at a higher level than the surface it's sitting on.
No Chinese wildcards this year, just two Australians (Levi Rogers & Zac Watson) in MXGP, and in MX2 Byron Dennis, Adrià Monné (EMX250 rider) and Nellis Fransson (WMX rider).
