Finished up this 06 cr250 build. Didn't go real crazy like some these builds, just fresh motor build and a good going through and thing rips. Found this rare KTM MX 500 Twostroke   1992 in original condition last weekend 🤩

 

Was  not planned to buy another one but there was not many produced in 1992 , so i jumped right into the Car and drove over 1000 kilometers to get it

There’s enough room around the head to throw a party in there while doing a piston swap. 

Wonder what it weighs after swapping engines and tossing all the electronics and battery. 15-20 lbs less?

Where did you find this PC snippet?

A bunch of us called PC and had them dust off the mold for a KDX pipe. We had enough people with prepaid orders they spun a few up.

This was from the test called building a works cr250 1986. Those parts are extremely rare i have never seen another bike with them cept for the one I had.

Imagine Husqvarna giving you a box van and a production bike and telling you and your mechanic to "now go win the championship". Against the likes of the powerhouse Honda team no less.

Your post prompted me to go to Karls channel ( I hadn't checked it out for a while)  and, I found this, his ES kit for Maicos! :

I daresay it may well 'trigger' some purists, but . I hope it becomes / is one of his products. 

He had that disaster with his home / workshop being destroyed in  a massive fire event a few years back, it's great to see he's got past that.
