Would that be the 9th circus court of appeals?

I just looked, I don't think so, however I couldn't explicitly find it.

Tariffs are not necessarily “stupid”. It’s the lack of strategy that creates issues.  Many tariffs are applied at excessive rates with no long-term goals defined. Makes running a business challenging.

It's all over the news now but here is one link and it's not the 9th circuit.

Since he told us his strategy, I'm good with it.

Using the stick of tariffs, he has stopped wars, brought investment commitments of billions of dollars for more jobs, and actual $$s for our government.

It's good to see a former "regular" back and stepping right back into blindly defending the undefendable.

Especially when a good portion of the blind supporters are currently taking a break.

Someday you will figure out you (and I) are paying for all this.

How exactly are you paying for it. What we've been paying for is Europe's "free" health care being subsidized by tariffs on us. And pharmaceuticals that all previous administrations have allowed us to pay 10s and 100s of times the price so they can buy dirt cheap.

Somebody better tell all the countries that are charging tarriffs against the US that one of our judges has ruled that tarriffs are illegal!

Actually it was a lopsided majority of 24 judges. But why let facts get in the way of some good BS?

What do you think would be a better alternative to tariffs? An alternative to tariffs to accomplish what purpose? Deficit reduction? You think raising taxes on Americans is the way to deficit reduction? I have never in my life heard a Republican cheer for a President to raise taxes.

Or should Trump do nothing? Yes. That would be better than increasing the deficit with a big beautiful terd.

What is your suggestion for balancing the budget, or reducing the deficit? How about cutting spending?

If you’re from the Democrats out of the aisle,:  No. I'm not. I have never voted for a goddam democrat in my life. Which means none of you're remaining questions pertain to me.

Why do you think we lost so many manufacturing jobs over the years. Countries tariff the shit out of us and close their markets to us through tariffs and regulation. So now Trump does to them what they have been doing to us for decades and it's a bad thing? Poor you, you worried that next flat screen will cost $15 more? It's good for our country to get manufacturing jobs back. And Trump is proving to be the best negotiator for the USofA.

I used to work for a large retailer that shipped  product internationally all the time.  I was responsible for resolving issues with international orders. Usually the issue was the customer not wanting to pay the tariffs to import the package. In some countries it was more than the cost of the item. The customer was always responsible for paying them.

What decade did the US have the most manufacturing jobs?

Tariffs are not the reason we lost manufacturing jobs. It was our push for globalization. US became more and more regulated (costs $$) and wages started to creep up ($$) so companies looked to manufacture in lower cost environments. Maintain or increase margins, maximize profits.

No country benefited more from these globalization efforts than us, but as a result of this the earnings funneled more and more to the top of the food chain vs your average American manufacturing workers pockets.

After WWII, the US allowed Europe to tariff us and we would not tariff them to help them rebuild. Up until Trump, we were still being tariffed to make them rich. They sell their stuff here but close their markets to us. And it's not limited to Europe. It makes zero sense. Ideally, if there were zero tariffs in both directions, that would be great. But there's not. So if tariffs are such a bad thing that gets your panties in a wad, I'm sure you were making posts about the heavy tariffs on the US from 🇨🇦 and the rest of the world last year? Yeah, I thought so, it's only good if other countries do it to us.

Wrong. When Marco goes over there and tells them if they don't wind that shit down, they'll lose access to the US market through tariffs so high, they wind it down. There's not many countries that don't need access to the US  market. Because you don't like Trump, you'll convince yourself there's a thousand other irrelevant reasons.

Heavy tariffs, you are hilarious, there was a free trade agreement (IE not tariffs) between the US and Canada and the US and Mexico, not to mention the following countries...

   Australia
   Bahrain
   Chile
   Colombia
   Costa Rica
   Dominican Republic
   El Salvador
   Guatemala
   Honduras
   Israel
   Jordan
   Korea
   Morocco
   Nicaragua
   Oman
   Panama
   Peru
   Singapore

Trump tariffed all these countries, but exempted Russia!

Another proof that you have no clue how tariffs actually work.

On another note, I can assure you that the main reason why we Europeans won’t buy your stuff is not tariffs.

Your food is poisoned. Your cars are simply not competitive, and your consumer goods are often of poor quality. In short: it’s not protectionism keeping us away, it’s your own standards.

Who cares. Trump’s doing a good job, in spite of the whacks, just like TDSer who started this forum.

It’s so funny to watch these guys get all stirred up watching the lib media wanting to immediately form a lynch mob (with no idea why they’re in a rage).

Look at L2S, who’s devoted all his energy/ life to “get Trump.” You have organizations, agencies, billionaires,  industry champions, who have been organized and mobilized to do nothing else but “get Trump!”

However, none of these bozos have any alternative, downplay any problems in the US, champion for criminals and corrupt public officials, crusade for mental illness, and their #1 goal is “get Trump!”
