Has this rule ever been put into action before? I could see maybe a guy having a crash before he puts in a good lap. But I can’t remember a top 10 points guy not qualifying.
At least nobody will search his locker.
Nothing there. He carries the anchor.
I think a few riders in the 70s had temper tantrums and episodes. John Kosinski purposely blew up a 250 Suzuki once I think as well.

Tell me you want out of your contract without telling the team you want out of your contract.
I wonder what everyone will be saying when they find out his struggles are due to developmental issues KHI is having with their factory single-speed tranny... and by single-speed I mean a reverse gear.
But hey, it's showing obvious signs of improvement - every week he goes backwards faster than the previous one.
He's obviously done at Kawi but at what point does Fox say thanks but no thanks?
I think they’re bound by the contract. They might need to seek out a hit man to get out of it.
It’s Pradover
There’s always a way out.
When Barcia went by. Lol. Have a seat Jorge.
Just need a hired gun -
This never gets old. Absolutely baffling watching a factory rider looking over his shoulder, at his bike, at his feet, heck sometimes looking up to the sky while racing. He is so clearly over it and its just a real kick in the nuts to the crew at Kawi week in and week out.
This needs to end ASAP I can’t fathom even seeing another single gate drop of this. I still want to see a motivated confident prado race here but this isnt going to work.
43rd in quaifying, he needs to see a psychyatrist, something is really wrong with him. I can't believe this hasn't already been done.
Hmm, so if youre in the top 10 you could just skip qualifying?
Seeing him literally sit up after Barcia passing him in moto 1 tells you all you need to know. It is NOT the bike and I predict he is cooked after this season and will never return mentally.
Back with an 11th isn't terrible but certainly not worth the money he is making.
Pit Row
I can imagine having to stand in front of DeCoster, hat in hand, asking for a ride. Someone do a Hopkins imitating Hitler, imitating Roger.... "If you ever snag a holie and finish 15th,,, you vill be shot. If you ever finish 15th and you ain't bleeding, you vill be... After you've been SHOT!"
I think dude is done here and going back to europe? what team would even take a chance in giving him a ride here in the states? He's a quitter if things don't go his way, what team wants that headache😆.
His starts are kinda baffling. If he's giving up wouldn’t you try to not get a good start? Or he’s letting other teams know he can still start up front? Either way I never seen this before
The Brian Bosworth of moto…
For supercross it has. RV2 was really sick and missed all day including practice. He showed up for night show and almost made the main through heat without even knowing the track. He ended up making it to main and doing decent and salvaged the night.
I've been following the US mx/sx side of the sport since 85 and have never seen anything to this degree.
Jorge is like Pourcel on steroids.
Fuck man, where is your dignity?
lol, he dropped it today..
For me it was weird. It was almost like he quit riding till he got just out of the top 10, then just slotted in and finished there. Maybe I was watching to close expecting him to drop to 20th.
He has to be trying to get himself fired and phoning it in for contractural obligation purposes.
Somehow with putting in 30% effort he still ended up 6th in the 450 Motocross championship:
6th -- 9th -- 13th -- 17th -- 5th -- 6th -- 9th -- 14th -- 5th --12th -- 10th for the overall finishes.
As we talk about Prado quitting… Looks like Vialle did as well per Lewis.
Comment from Ian Harrison on Tom Vialle (via the KTM PR): "Tom decided he would sit out race two after lacking confidence in his setup, so he called it a day."
