Carey Hart tweeted a photo from the dew tour. His Jersey had DODGE logos all over it. Safe to say they are set.

Yeah, I really do think he will sign Reed and have him on a factory Honda with H&H graphics.

I just thought of something, isn't that new H&H gear from ONE?
But Reed seems to have some deal with Fox, right?

Wouldn't you think the H&H team would want their riders in their H&H gear?

Chad said on the podium interview from the super x race that he has no commitments for next year. Fox stepped up and gave him gear for that race only.

Good for H&H stepping up and bringing in another BIG sponsor outside the industry.

Keep in mind that Honda has balked at any association with other auto companies in the past (mazda and chevy). I highly doubt that factory Honda will support a team whos title sponsor is Dodge.

Another excellent point
They'd be promoting the competition

Just from listening to reeds interview from the super x I would assume he wants to ride for factory honda with a nice big salary but they dont want to pay him the money and it sounds like he won't race unless he gets what he wants..

I agree. From the sound of it he want's to ride for H&H because they have the budget, but he also wants to be on factory honda equipment, which might not happen. Dodge wouldn't want to be sponsoring a Honda team and vise versa. That's why H&H was working on a deal with Kawasaki but I'm sure, even with factory equipment, Reed wouldn't want that because otherwise he would've just stayed through his 2nd year at Monster Kawi.

I think the last thing he wants is to be more busy having to run his own team...

Having your own team does NOT mean you run your own team. Big difference.

The best Reed will get will be a respectible salary with bonus options for podiums/wins/championships. The salary's don't appear to be there in this economy and they are putting the bonus options in so they can make money if your successful. Pourcel is finding this out also I suspect.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vodaphone step up and sponsor him in America. The only difference is that he would be running Verizon graphics (Vodaphone owns 45% of VZW).

Verizon has shown their willingness to sponsor motorsports and by the looks of that extravagant press conference about his bike, Vodaphone looks like they are ready for a long-term commitment whether he's riding bikes or driving cars.

Which effectively rules Reed out of that team.

Is Reed still with Monster, or did that deal end at the same time as the Kawasaki deal?

Who is filling Metcalfe's spot at Geico?

Yeah, but Demuth was on a KTM under the H&H tent while the rest of the team was on Hondas... I realize that Demuth wasn't 'H&H' but something similar could emerge though...

You're right on the Kawasakis and I can't imagine Reed on another one.
10/18/2010 10:08am
Demuth was on KTMs because they sponsored him and since he is Watson's boy he was giving him exposer and a place to pit.
