If I were betting, I’d say Marchbanks.
He’s in SoCal, works with Tickle, has been around the 450 team quite a bit this summer. They talked about putting him on Anderson’s bike for the Summer at one point.
He’s under contract with Kawasaki directly (like all PC riders), so it’s easy to change the deal.
The pressure with Marchbanks is low, seems easy to slot in, will be solid, and allows them to transfer more time and energy into Sexton. Versus trying someone a bit more outside of their direct camp at the same time as they’re trying to learn and build with Sexton.
Marchbanks would be really cool to see. Hopefully he rides to his potential and doesn’t read names on jerseys. Would make for a great story.
So is BarX offering more salary and club wanting guys to take less cash because of the entire program? Seems like club is missing on some guys but maybe my view of club as being a step up from most of the other support teams isn't accurate?
