Rodgers won't be healthy by this time of the season.  It's Week 8 (7th game, the Steelers have a bye in week 5 I think) and he'll be in a cast or otherwise incapacitated by that time and hitting the podcast circuit.

I think the cards will win 10 games this year. Also where's Gary? I like fighting him on topics regarding Arizona sports and I miss him.

The king of choke there’s a ton of jokes about him.  I know a linemen from the y he was drafted the same yr , he’s like a old grandpa .  2 weeks ago offensive vs defense had 59k+ watching. Last sat 7 bucks for a ticket.  It’s Really annoying in gb sb talk every yr .  The fans annoying 300 lb huge women that’s really gb tho .  Everyone dreads the start of the season interrupting summer .  You can watch them practice for free yet I think .  But your not going to see much .  5 staff members critiquing a linemen’s movements . High light is a few passes . No contact allowed in practice. Haha for tackle football.  That’s why the game sucks now.

I was talking about this with some friends - I feel as if this offseason has produced the least amount of movement in potential 'power rankings' heading into the season compared to any other season in recent memory. If you were to ask me who the top 4 teams are going into the year, teams that I truly believe have a real shot at winning it all, I would say Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens, Bills... who were also the best 4 teams at the end of last season.

I would include the Lions in that group, had they not lost both of their coordinators. I still think they'll be a good team, but I can't help but think the brain drain will cause a little bit of regression, similar to the Eagles in 2023.

As for other teams that look solid and could shake things up, my eye is on the Commanders, Rams, Vikings, Packers, Broncos, Texans, and my Bucs... basically, the same good-but-not-great teams from last season.

Are there any teams that we think could turn things around from last year in a massive way? Perhaps the arrival of Ben Johnson could unlock that Bears offense and get them over the hump. Can Tua stay healthy and lead the Dolphins back to the playoffs?

I'd be surprised inf the niners don't bounce back from last year. They're a bit weaker than they were at receiver but the defensive losses in the off-season are being over-stated IMO. With Saleh back and the schedule we have, if we can stay injury-free or at least a bit less fucked than last year then we will be in the mix.

Aside from that, the Pats could be sneaky good and the Chargers.

if anything i think the Lions will be better this year. they probably won't improve on 15-2 but i think they have a better overall team, better talent, guys that were great last year are still there and even stronger.

Ben Johnson was good but he was too gimmicky, too many trick plays for no reason, not pounding the rock when it's working, passing to OL guys just because.  it's fun when it works but infuriating when it blows up in your face.  look at the Commanders playoff game last season.  they couldn't stop Jahmyr Gibbs, he was literally killing them every time he touched the ball... so what does the genius Johnson do? forces Goff to pass leading to interceptions. forces gimmick trick plays to have our wide receiver who is the fastest guy on the field pass into double coverage while behind 2 scores. Gibbs barely touched the ball after absolutely gashing them the first half. it's just like, bro, fucking pull your head out and get back to the fundamentals that work. i wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a bust of a head coach. also fuck him for going to a conference rival, who does that?

regarding Aaron Glenn, he was a good coordinator and i think he'll be a good head coach. the Lions defense will be just fine without him. as long as we don't lose 13 starters on D alone like last year then i have faith they will be fine. Hutchinson will likely win the Comeback player of the year as well as the Defensive player of the year.

then again, i'm a Lions homer.  but that's my two cents on losing both coordinators.

Rich Eisen is calling for the Chiefs to go 15-2 and be the #1 seed again this year. IDK man, I think something is going to give in their program sooner or later. I guess we'll see. I tell you this: the AFC West is a damn house of pain this year.

Ha! I'm here skeef and yes the Arizona Cardinals are gonna suck once again as long as Kyler the midget Murray is at the helm. Never seen a quarterback in all my life (and I've been watching football games for close to 60 years. pops took us to LA Ram games at the Coliseum, back when Roman Gabriel was throwing touchdown passes to Jack Snow) who has done so little but has the biggest ego.

I'm surprised he can even get his helmet on. He should be the leader of the team, but I cannot recall when he has ever encouraged a player slapped him on the back, or even has conversations with one. He just goes back to the bench and sulks.

Thank gawd this is the final year of his contract, and with any common sense they will let him walk. Unlike last time when he held out for MAX$$ contract even though he had done absolutely nothing at that point in his career.

Then there's the coaching staff. I still feel the head coach Gannon sucks and he is another emotionaless guy and needs to be the opposite as he is the frickin' head coach! If you look at him, you cannot tell if his team is winning or losing he looks the same. 🙄

It's brutal being an Arizona sports fan as the Suns bottomed out after being in the Finals, just 4 short years ago. I was glad they got rid of Durant. I'm hoping for a much better team with good chemistry. Something that team severely lacked the last few seasons.

Then there's the d backs who have once again been a disappointment, but I'm going to tomorrow's game as they're giving away some cool Suns theme hats. Who doesn't love freebies especially at a pro sports game where they rape you every chance they get with $18 beers! 😂

I gotta admit that even with all the Russell Wilson cringiness these past 3-4 seasons, he’s still one of the best deep passers in the league…….

Haha I can understand and relate to your misery. That Super Bowl against Tom Brady and the Patriots, I thought you guys had in the bag but should have realized you were playing against the GOAT! just like our 92/93 Suns season against the Jordan Bulls, we had momentum on our side before Jordan took over in game 6 and  paxon hit the dagger 3! That was my first season as a ticket holder and I'm still holding on 34 years later waiting for that elusive championship trophy. I hope I'm still above ground.... 🙄😬🤬

The world has gone mad. Do people really want this stuff at NFL games? 🙄 🤮

Why is this acceptable and kids see this kind of stuff? But gawd forbid, if a cheerleader's top is too low cut, can't have that anymore. 🤬

Being a Minnesota sports fan is no easier, Vikings have been to four Superbowl's and never won.  Haven't been to one in over 40 some years.  They get to the NFC championship game every 9 years or so and piss it away. State of Hockey and we suck at NHL and our basketball team has not won since the 50s under a different name.  Baseball team has not won since 91.  Only thing we have is ladies' professional basketball and hockey.  Hockey won the last 2 and basketball has won many.

Looking at the schedule it seems like they could have a winning record. I hope they prove me wrong and are actually a good team so I have someone to root for.

But there's this to overcome... 😂

A friend is taking me to the home opener. Her family has been Cardinals ticket holders ever since they came to Arizona in 1988. Looking forward to it as I have never been to a home opener NFL game.

The 10th pick in the 2017 draft, acquired from the Buffalo Bills. Wow talk about a lot of teams that missed and have regrets.

Who knew he would be this great. I remember the first time I saw him play, he was doing sidearm stuff, couldn't believe it! I was instantly a fan and did not know anything about him or where he came from.
