How much does someone pay for a ride like ClubMx? 150k for the year with everything included, bikes, mechanic, travel, living quarters, training spot? What about paying to be on a team like AEO or BarX that doesn’t have everything ClubMx has to offer? If I hit the lottery I might buy myself onto a team 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No offense to Simonson but there is no chance he deserves the free gig over other available riders. He had a couple good rides in supercross but hasn't had much success outdoors.
I would not be surprised if Devin was the 5th guy next year. Maybe Reynolds again and another rider to join Coty and Max.
Maybe he cuts brandon’s grass and that’s how he gets the ride
He’s the contractor building all the houses there 😂😂😂

Loyalty to the program. They see him ride everyday, got to know him, etc. He’s been training at Club for a bit.
Jeez if you have $150k to pay for a ride you must come from a family with FU money
I was just throwing a number out there, I’m not sure what people pay. 60k a year to be on a team like ClubMx and not worrying about anything seems light to me. If your family is willing to pay for you to be on a team, you might come from FU money lol
Hey ML, what’s it costing someone to buy themselves onto a team like ClubMx or AEO? What would it have cost someone to buy their way onto your team?
Also he is a good dude. I don’t know Brandon but he seems to really value good humans.
I dont think that number is high at all. $150K for a full year of sx/mx racing for a program like Club sounds about right to me. No chance its as low at $60K
How many kids his age are going that far in debt for a college degree they'll never finish or use? If that's all in cost for bikes, gear, riding, training, housing, mechanic, etc etc that's really not that far fetched. YOLO.... if you can find a way and that's what you want to do, keep swiping that card and see what you can do. You've got the next 50 years of your life to be responsible and grind away at some job....
I hope he’s at Budds Creek!
This sport is only for the rich and elite these days. It’s sad because Moto used to also be a poor man’s sport. I haven’t seen a roadside shop with used dirt bikes in over 2 decades here in California. the middle class can barely afford to ride. Only people I know that race come from money

I see it like University. Not all but mid to top riders get scholarships. Mid to bottom riders got to pay their own way until proven otherwise.
I heard Lux gets a $50,000 base salary in 26, I would imagine Ross is about the same
I wonder how much those EBR Amateur rides are? They have quite a set up at Loretta's every year.
Incorrect, that's higher than what either of them received.
Assuming those guys are around 35k. Do they receive contingency plus purse money as well ?
You're much closer. Yes, they receive bonuses in the form of contingency multipliers. Some teams have them...like Phoenix, AEO, and BarX... (I had those for my team as well). So it's attractive to riders because they get a weekly paycheck other than purse when they get 12th...10th...17th...8th... etc. One rider mentioned to me that's why the Club offer wasn't as attractive as it only had bonuses for the top five positions.
However, I think Club positions itself in a different way with the facility and maybe a bit deeper off-the-bike program wrapped in. So there are trade-offs to each deal.
Dang, that boy must exaggerate things...😊
I remember when I started racing as a teen in '92, the vets of NESC told me stories about when Doug Henry came through the ranks. His bikes were completely roached out and held together with duct tape. His work ethic, talent, and desire were enough to get him a factory ride and become a National Champion. A kid with all the tools and talent like Doug, but lacking rich parents, probably wouldn't make it today
Why isn’t he racing Supercross?
This didn't age nicely

If SMX next is the feeder class that it’s claimed to be, you’d hope that the kid who won the series last year would’ve at the very least had an opportunity at a pro ride with club. Ideally kids winning that series would have factory rides, as plenty of the people Fedorstov beat do.
