I like to pretend I'm not, but I seem to have accumulated an awful lot of Honda motorcycles and merchandise.
1974, Started on Hondas, mini trail 50 and trail 70. 1976 through 2002, Yamaha's. 2003 through 2015, Honda's. 2016 Yamaha. 2017 to present, KTM and Husky. The only Kawasaki's I had were a 550 Jet Ski and a Mule 3010. If I ride a friend's bike and like it better than what I'm on, I will buy one.
It was easy to be loyal back in the day as there were great dealers everywhere that supported racers/racing. Nowadays, not so much.
I have owned Hondas, Kawasakis, Ktm s, Suzukis, Yamahas and Gas Gas (spanish). each brand but the ktms had a trait that i loved. having said that no bike has better ergos than the Honda.
Most 125,s on the gate are yz125,s heavily modded there a fast bike . It comes down to comfort IMs pro series lower & farther back pegs on a cr makes it soo much better . Wild fire smoke here I can’t ride in that crap .it’s supposed to go into winter. I,m thinking of shutting it down & start riding again in December. It sucks because I was progressing pretty good . Xmas race sat so ovr watered super narrow extremely long ruts . Sun was way better & I wasn’t as sick woozy headed . Cedar lake indoor riding get the bike dialed . Then do GT AX Jan to the end , 10 rnds 125& 30.+ . I think the 04 is the best bike in the whoops only yr with the beefy swingarm & frontend sticks like glue . I had a injection Tuesday & 3 or 4 more . The reason 30+ instead of 40+ not many do multiple rounds in 30+ so I can score good points .

Been on Hondas since the 1973 Elsinore 250, had the CR250Rs from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s, all the way up to the CRF450s from 2013 to today. So definitely lean Red. I have had a few other bikes as well, a couple Suzukis, a Kawasaki, Maicos, loved the old YZ465 in late ‘70s/early 80s, and a TM, so I like to ride different things, but the go-to race bike is always the Honda.
Nope, I buy them all.
I bounced around in my younger days, usually a few years on each before switching. Yamaha, then Suzuki (when the full floater came out), then Kawasaki. Really gelled on the green machines. Never had a ride with a good Honda shop which always left me wondering how good they were as in the 80's they were winning everything. Eventually tried them, and their handling just didn't agree with me. I'd still ride green if they made 2 strokes but the Austrian bikes have been great to me and they have so many models to choose from you never get bored. We'll see what Kawi releases for the rumored 2 stroke, maybe I'll be coming home once more......
My Local Dealership sold Honda Yamaha Kawasaki and Montesa so that was a major part of it and I ended up wrenching in the MC industry there in 1980
I Forgot about having a Montesa 414 that the shop had supplied for me to race in 1980 along with my first Husqvarna 1980 125CR that I bought from Red Bud Cycle and had shipped to me in Maryland. My 2nd Husky was a 1985 500CR that was the first year Huskys being a single shock.
1988 Suzuki RM250 was a barely used practice bike that I picked up in 1988
If I had the money, I'd probably have as many bikes as guitars.
I've gone Honda, Honda, KTM, Honda, Honda, Kawi, Honda, Kawi. I want a stark and if I had to buy another gas bike, I really liked my friends 25 YZ450 I just rode
Nope, I've had all 5 brands throughout the years since I started riding at 3 (I'm 30 now). I just bought the bike (not the brand) that would suit me best at the time. That includes switching back to a smoker. Now trying to go electric.

them's fighting words, sir
BluCru since I was a kid, never forget watching MC on the YZ250. Don’t plan on switching brands either, got a 2015 YZ250F and would get a newer one down the road
No brand loyalty here. I watch all the media bike reviews and listen to keefer podcasts to figure out which bike may be best for me. Currently on a Yz450f. Stark 1.2 on order. Over the past decade I’ve had multiple 2 and 4 strokes from Kawasaki, KTM, Honda and Yamaha.
Suzuki always had a special place with me. Why? When I was a kid I thought the yellow looked the coolest. Things like that stick with you. Still to this day I’m always a fan of any rider who races a Suzuki. Bikes I’ve owned, KX80, RM125, YZ250 and several CR250’s.
Let me know how that Stark is
Kawi nerd decades. Factory. Team green. Pro Circuit. I have no second thoughts throwing them in the bushes for something else these days.
Nope...No brand loyalty here either. I just love to ride the latest and greatest bike.
Generally, I rely a lot on the shootout and ride experience i can find find on the forum for the latest model and choose the one that seems like the best one for my skills and tracks around me.
By the way, i really like to switch brands often, right now riding the last gen kawasaki and would like to try the new crf for my next one. If tomorrow Ducati kills the shootout, i would ride then a Ducati.
Have been a Suzuki fan for years but due to lack of development, i switched over to Honda..
Pit Row
Kawi for me, but open to other brands if I think the bike is better. The kawi contingency is hard to beat, and I've had good luck with the green machines. Since I've started riding I've had 9 kawi's, 1 Honda, 2 Yamahas, 2 Suzuki, and 2 KTM's. I like them in all colors, but green usually has the best deals in my area.
Not at all. I’ve got a 2013 wr450f, 07 KTM 250sxf, oldest daughter has a ttr110 and klx140rf youngest has a 250ex quad and also rides the ttr110. I’ve had every major brand over the years and liked them all!
Owned a string of Yamaha Mx bikes (6 bikes). Was a loyalist and fan boy.
Finally broke the ties when the 350 hype got me. No regrets
