Is there anything new going on with the Epstein thing? It’s dragging out too long. They’re all busy making deals right now. The media is trying to figure out how to keep Trump in the middle if it. They’re just trying to fill time slots, until they can find some real news. First they’ll have to figure out what kind of spin to put on it, then they’ll put it out.

The Dems need someone with a plan and an actual policy, and get away from the self-pity. They were 100% unified after 2016 and were able to get Biden in. Right now they are complete misfits. They could put Newsom out there, but they would have to rig the election. I don’t think they’re unified enough for that. I can’t think of a single Dem candidate other than someone like SCOTUS John Roberts.
Newsom is probably the leader in the club house currently. I get most of the right dislike him. But I think his popularity among the middle may be higher than people think. Just a gut feeling.
The next 3 years will be very interesting, I think a lot of people are pretty shocked at how Trump is operating in this term and it’s going to turn large swaths of people away. Time will tell.

I don’t really know anything about him to be honest. I saw some clips from him on that Shawn Ryan podcast were he speaks well but other then that I don’t really know much about him.
people complain about California but they contribute a ton to our economy and revenue to the government and people keep wanting to live there so I dunno?. As with all things he’s probably not as good as some people think and probably not as bad as other. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.
I dunno who will have a bigger leadership dearth coming up. Trump is a one of one and will be hard to find someone as brash as him and the democrats completely mis-managed the end of the Biden era and didn’t think to groom anyone to follow him.
I can tell newsome is full of it and I am all the way across the country in GA. Do a little research on him. Look at how he has handled the water supply in CA, how he’s handled the homeless problem, the recent fire, the illegal immigrants, and crime. He’s trying to rebrand himself as a moderate. Don’t be fooled.

I live in a red state and we have a homelessness problem too, so I’m not sure that’s a blue state/ red state issue.
Neither Biden or Trump have made any difference in Ukraine Russia.
I’m not thrilled with our blind support of Israel but obfuscating about issues where our only info is from those with an agenda on one side or the other isn’t doing anything. Hamas has done some really terrible shit but not all Palestinians are part of the group and starving an entire city of people is something I can’t agree with.
I won’t speculate on what his policies might be that’s pointless. If he runs we will find out. I bet he would admit that he hasn’t done everything perfectly in his to me as governor and o can appreciate some humility from leaders. Something the current guy doesn’t possess at all.
As far as the large swaths I spoke of, maybe that was a bit eager but I do think there are a lot of Americans that disagree with how things are going. Like I said we’ll find out. I’m not declaring anything.
