This stuff fit so good. Still have the pants and jersey.
I have to commend you on the honesty; that's a fresh departure from the typical marketing spin. I would have understood that gear set if it came out the way it was being designed. Would not have been my color choice, but it makes sense and would look fresh with some of the boots I've seen around.
As long as the kit sells (which it seems to be doing,) the job got done. Kudos to Thor.
Thanks for the kind words, greatly appreciated by all here 🤙
All the riders I see in fxr gear it’s tight painted on fit. Not for me . Improve your riding at the local level you can get 2 free sets & a big discount on others. I,m hoping a few races b4 sept in 125 looking to lead 20-50 ft on the start & 40b good results is enough. Sponsors don’t know 50+ is a faster class . Then your riding for more of a reason .

When I saw the part number/ description I was picturing the copper a brighter color. Maybe more of a coral or orange ish tint to it. Something kind of like this. I know its difficult to get some colors to sublimate consistently across materials or in general. But maybe even some sort of iridescent fabric for the copper color on the pant and then just do the Thor logos in an iridescent transfer like some of the gear has now. But more like a vehicle wrap metallic shade. I just pictured something brighter than the shade it is. Its more brown than Copper to me. If I never had that image in my mind before seeing the real stuff, it might not have seemed off to me.
I tried to make what I was picturing in my mind when I saw the colors quickly. But I wasn't really able to get it exactly what I was thinking. I know the stripes couldn't be sublimated and be the iridescent color I'm describing with sublimation. And this design wouldn't really be able to be produced. But maybe a little more work on shading to make the coloring seem iridescent but just be regular sublimated polyester.
Thor's 26 line just dropped on their website. First glance, not bad.
The only problem is the backs... Whoever is approving all these patterns on the back of the jerseys needs shooting. Sure, for Pros with sublimated stuff it's fine but you cannot cover black and zebra patterns all that well with heat-patched stuff like most of us peasants have to use... I may well be in the minority but for me you've got 95% of the kit in a good spot then ruined it all with zebra stripes. Just... why?!
The trick is to have a good border around the name and number in the busy areas to create separation. These are just heat transfers and are easily read over the patterns on the jersey. Yes a plain back of the jersey looks a little better when you're getting your jersey printed but I'd say 90% of the people buying jerseys just run them plain and this gives the jersey a lot more design and color.
I like the 2026 THOR stuff. The clean lines are the my style personally. I have a few customers that are bummed that they dropped the size 40 from the pants Sportmode line. This is the SPORTMODE Synth
Below is some of the Midline LAUNCHMODE. I have some of this gear that I got to compare to the old Pulse line. Same size as the Pulse and WOW, so much better , they fit me great. Unfortunately I have not been able to ride in it yet because of some family stuff. But if You disliked the Pulse gear because of the way it fit, Its really worth giving the Launchmode line another look and trying it on. It fits much more true to size. I may even have been able to go down a size in the new stuff, but I've gained weight so I went with the same size.

OK so maybe this design is a hair wild and not super clean lines like I said at first. But overall its more clean lines. I do like thes colorways too.
LUNCHMODE BLEACH
The LAUNCHMODE AIR Raptor vented line has 2 colorways. Nice neutral and clean. They go more with the look of last years non vented lineup , not that that is bad or good. Just something.

And then the entry level RIDEMODE is new for 2026. Most of the other stuff is available right now, the Ridemode part numbers were showing a lot of fall ETA's last I looked. Some as late as November .
Like the other brands they also have a bunch of new T-shirts ,hoodies and Jackets. And bags with a few design/colorway options instead of the single colorway they have had in the recent past.

They have some new hats, the socks all look the same as last year , some carryover shirts and hats.
All images came from https://www.thormx.com/ You can find pricing and info on what dealers Stock the gear. Any PU dealer can get it for you.
Last I checked, Most sizes and colors are available RIGHT NOW. If Your dealer has to order it , I am seeing most of the stock in Nevada. Most of the SPORTMODE and LAUNCHMODE colorways are in stock .
Forgot the Womens and kids stuff. Cool that they have SPORTMODE stuff for the women as well as the LAUNCHMODE and RIDEMODE.
This is the SPORTMODE Velocity
The RIDEMODE Menace
I think I will stick with A-stars for the foreseeable future.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this write-up, very much appreciated my man 💪
I personally didn’t want to drop the 40” Sportmode pants, because I have a couple friends that run them. Unfortunately, the numbers didn’t lie - it took nine months to sell six pairs last season, so we decided to drop.
I’m not a huge fan of the gear, but the backstory to it is kind of awesome and makes me like it more.
I don’t hate solid gear with different color pants/jersey, but it seems like 99% of the time, gear manufacturers make the pants black or white with interchangeable jersey colors, so at minimum props to Thor for making a unique set
I love thors new gear, didn’t even know they made backpacks(one of them looks like a jansport design), i also love their women’s gear and how none of the gear is copy and paste.
Your welcome.
I figured that was the reason. I know its not really a gear made for bigger guys. But everybody I got to try it loved it. I had a couple customers wearing that size , so I know I sold at least 6 or 8 sets of the 2024 year stuff. Too bad I've not been able to be selling as much as I have in the past ( my mom's health issues took a lot of my attention away the past year. She still needs me alot but I'm getting back to being in the shop more) I could have doubled the sales of the bigger sizes. I figured it wasn't a bigger seller. there was always only a few in stock.
I normally sell mostly the 34 or 36 in those pants. and I bet that 30-34 are the biggest selling sizes in those.
They have a decent amount of womens casual stuff too. I think the backpacks are new for this year, I don't remember seeing them before. They have had a single color line of bags. gear bag, helmet bag ,some hydration packs and fanny packs.
The trench coat style rain jacket is awesome too ! It covers you and really keeps You dry even in heavy rain. I gave my mother and my sisters each one to keep in their cars . My mom wore hers all the time until her mobility was drastically reduced. They retail for $20 and fi most people. I had to get myself a Moose 3XL . But can wear the Thor in a pinch.
I like how they have a full lineup of the women's stuff.
Can you send a link to the rain jacket you talked about? I agree with everything you said, i’ve never looked this much into their website and products, i’m impressed.

Thanks
Nice update to Thor. I like most of it.
Pit Row
I should have also said that its for the pits and off bike stuff. I just saw the post now and was about to post a link and saw that somebody already did. The jacket comes folded up in a relatively small square bag that fits in the pockets of the back of the seats in a truck or SUV , and is easy to store until You open it up. After that its hard to fold back up as small as it comes.
The people at Thor and Parts Unlimited ( The owner and distributor of Thor) Are legit moto people. Everybody I've talked with rides MX and many also ride MTB's. And they are all very passionate about the brand and the sport. I was surprised at the contrast between them and my local reps of one of the other big distributors. It may just be something personal with the local rep of that other place. I have not talked to them for a few years now so they may not be the same person still. But I was really surprised . That Rep turned me off to the company enough that I have stayed away since then.
I'm not sure how the newest womens gear fits, the previous line up seemed to also be on the smaller scale of sizing when it was the old Pulse name. Perhaps JJ376 can chime in and tell us if those same sizing changes were made to the women's line when they changed from Pulse to Launchmode. Most customers wore a size or 2 bigger with the old Pulse line for the men's gear. If possible try some of the line on that You are looking at buying so You can see how it fits You. The gear ended up fitting , but I had some women surprised at the size that fit them.
Thank you for the kind words about PU and Thor. Yes, we're all enthusiasts and love the two wheel life. That said, we can't do it without the dedication from our dealers and the passion from the consumers. You guys are what makes our moto industry go 'round!
Does the jacket that was mentioned fit short but bigger people?
I am not interested in buying riding gear because I don't ride a bike, or quad or anything, but I might look into the jacket and the casual stuff.
Is there any way to buy shirts from PU online? My local dealer is Malcolm Smith, but I haven't been in there since I was a kid(even though I live a few minutes from it) so I wouldn't know what they have in there.
Not directly to the consumer level. Malcolm Smith can definitely get you what you're looking for in a day though. Maybe you'll walk out with a new scoot too!
Maybe but it won't involve a dirt bike.
My sister is on the average size height wise, 5'6" or so. But wears a 2xl in a unisex shirt . To have it fit comfortably , not tight but not super baggy either. She wears it .
Depending on how short you are it could be closer to the ground. I think that somebody with a bodytype similar to my sisters would be fine in it being a little shorter. Ill look at the packing tomorrow and see if it has any measurements on it or size guide. Its a one size fits most . There is a sizing guode onthe Thor webaite in the thor catalog. But i dont know if that would help on the rain jacket.
They are short on me, but im 6'9" and have plumped up to 330. Not sure they would still fit around me or not. When I was in a 2xl it was fine , just short on my legs. Moose has a big boy size that I grabbed myself .its more than twice the $$ but its a heavier fabric. If I wasnt so big I would have stuck with the thor jacket .
Also im not sure how much of its made in the US. But the t shirts ive gotten the past couple years say they are made in the USA. I dont remember if the hoodie is , the raincoat is not. The mens shirts stepped up in qauility in 23 or 24. The price went up, but they last much better now.
I'm 2xl as well, I'm 5 foot ish(not quite 5’1’’)
Indeed, the new ladies Sportmode and Launchmode chassis have an updated fit just like the men’s - with subtle differences akin to male / female body types regarding waist / hip ratio.
These new chassis fit a broader range of body types - as the previous Pulse chassis was just too specific with flat front and low waist. To some riders, it was their favorite, others couldn’t wear the darn thing.
I got this set because it reminded me a little to this one i had back in the day.
Been a thor guy since 04 and kind of hit home with me
I really liked the color palettes during these years, were really progressive and less OEM-specific. Nice one!
