As far as opinions and analysis, what they get right or wrong is disputed so who am I to say what they got right or not?. I can tell you what I agree with, disagree with, or have no opinion about, but that's just a piece of autobiographical information about me - it's really not that interesting, and misses the point anyways. Even if they are badly incompetent, they surely get some things right, even if only by fluke (even a stopped clock is right twice a day). More importantly, you're presuming that on every issue on which you disagree with them, they're wrong. Of course you think your opinions are right- if you didn't, they wouldn't be your opinions. But you're assuming something bordering on infallibility - as if your opinion is the measure of truth, and the wrongness of opposing views is practically self-evident. It's okay to be wrong sometimes. I assure you, you sometimes are - we all are. That's why a certain amount of intellectual humility and charity towards those with whom you disagree is not only warranted, but more apt to put your opinions in a light that others will take seriously, as opposed to always setting up a confrontation. When you set up a confrontation, your claims are something to defeat rather than something to thoughtfully consider and engage. 

What I'm saying doesn't apply to just you, and I don't mean to be picking on you. Your "they're wrong about everything" statement just about perfectly sums the way a lot of people approach politics: an approach that doesn't allow for the possibility I might be wrong sometimes and someone else might not be stupid even if I disagree with them.

Why are their (as you put it) "analysis" always wrong? Because they don't want to tell the truth, they want to create a false narrative that aligns with their Trump hatred. And if you wait a few weeks (sometimes days or even hours) their narrative (or reporting as you call it)falls apart and is always wrong. And I'm not talking about going out and doing a story about how much rain came down in a storm, but the narrative that "why" the rain came down they push their "wrong" analysis. That's where your example falls apart. It's not that they stated an event, it's that they create a false narrative around the event. And that's where they are always wrong with their narrative that they push for days, weeks, or even months.

How about Benghazi was because of a video that maybe 15 people on the internet actually saw. They spend weeks on their always WRONG narrative. How many weeks did the media spend on their Charlottsville hoax? Low hanging fruit in this thread.

In closing, because they start with an actual event that we all know happened, that does not make them right. It's their "reporting" around the event that they get wrong ALL the time.

As a point of logic, you're saying "all CNN stories are wrong". But you can't establish  a proposition of the form "All S is P" by observing "some S is P". So it makes no difference what example you cite, or whether or not you're right about the example, you'll not have demonstrated that they are always wrong because that claim is not demonstrable. It's not a serious claim -  it's partisan hyperbole.
