Which riders would have shined through more? He definitely kept a lot of guys from winning races. Besides KDUB, who would have gained momentum, won races, or been more of a household name then they ended up being?

Yeah, but CR22 has won outdoor and indoor championships. I'm talking about guys that never got a win or never broke out because of RC's domination.

MC would have probably another 2 SX titles, Reed probably another 2 SX and at least one more outdoor title, JS probably two more outdoor titles and another SX title.

if rc was never born, anybody who trained at his place or raced with him or watched him race/ride, etc would not have a clue to that kind of pace he set.all those that finished 2nd to rc thru the years ,you would assume would be title winners, but, they would have to deal with preasure of a different kind and outcomes could of been different than the obvious.
stewart may of crashed less as well ,if he didnt have rc on his mind.just an assumption.

It's hard to say 2nd in points would have won, because you never know, if RC was never born then some people alll the way back in amateurs might have gotton a first win and got the ball rolling, whereas they could never quite snag that win because RC would check out and they figured they couldnt win. Someone you might not have ever even heard of possibly could have gotton a taste of winning and go on to win title, the people who got "2nd" in points (i believe) are just the people who never gave up during the RC domination, somebody who finished 5th or 6th in points probably could have gotton some confidence and go on to do alot better then they did, but RC would shatter their dreams every moto.

Like the Short of 2010, if Dungey wasn't there he could have dominated the nationals, gotton some confidence, and end up winning regularly, but like some of the guys in the early 2000's they never got a win and kept struggling.

Windham, Pastrana, Tortelli, Lusk.
All but Pastrana. They never really raced. Travis's chance was done when he broke his wrist first round of the first season they were together in 250's, and then later when he destroyed his knee at the Xgames. It was well and truly over then. Maybe it was over with the concussions in 01.

In the imaginary world of "what if," I think Travis had both Stewart and Carmichael's number, and I say that very much as an RC fan. I'm not sure anyone ever has had the combination of speed and talent Travis did. The boards were flaming as much back then over his choice not to focus on racing as they do now over Stewart's career choices.

They all would have made less $. I beleive RC brought it up a big notch for his competitor. Especially for the one who had the potential to beat him.
