Kind of strange for Ducati not to be more “set up” considering the amount of media opportunities this weekend.

Thought the same thing.

You'd think they would have wanted a big fancy set up to draw attention to the next big thing.

Bro your looking at it wrong I think.  Windham bend rg3 clamp is 5m up & forward or 10mm.  The bars never hit my leg when I scoot up to carve the inside flat.  My butt can get on the rear fender yet when the Double Boost is engaged .  I was 6,3 6, 1/4 now my legs & arms are still long & I stand a lot. Kawis graphics are painful. Looks like a coloring book 2 different people who never met each other filled in. Bordeline terrorism.

I was always hitting my legs on the bars too. I got my boots hooked on the front of my shrouds a few times too on that era Honda .  I ran an RC bend , at the time it was the tallest and straightest bend after the Button bend went away. I also ran 15mm taller bar mounts . And liked to be very forward on the bike, but WOW those bars look so far forward even for me.

That RG3 clamp was super popular on those Cr's too in New England back when that bike was new. Seemed like I was the only person that didn't have one in the group of friends I rode with. At the time Wally Silva was riding for Manchester Honda so we all had the MHR graphics and ran a lot of the same parts he ran. It was wild to ride with Wally. Even on his 125 it seemed like he was passing me a gear higher, revving less and going twice as fast as I was on a 250. We rode a really rough sand track and he just floated over everything , while I seemed to always be stuck hitting the big holes. He was skimming , jumping from shallow hole to shallow , I'll never forget that pass. It sounds so obvious , but I realized how to ride a rough track after that.

Who would’ve thought, even ten years ago, that there would be a Triumph and Ducati team in motocross?

Yeah a little bit huh. I,m on a res rt now same tribe that GW convinced to help defeat the British . I give them credit for even fighting. The Indians style was curled waves of different directions & speeds & kill with a hatchet, knife or arrow. Plus they flew out of trees.  The Naitive American men to this day r big boys 6,5- 6,9 ripped natural warrior bodies. No doubt the toughest men we ever fought .  I hv a Indian pal Tyson refused to fight him at his peak , this Dude is tough. The Indians wiped out the Vikings & there like bikers.  The Colonialist where so advanced & in high numbers game over.  I like electricity & a hot shower so I don’t hv a problem with it.  I,m Not some pro Native American I,m a 1/8th Indians don’t consider me Indian at all .  I just think our history is Very interesting.  We could’ve had British control here it was a Very brutal &  close war.

Over 20 years ago Ducati management reached out to some of us Ducati owners who also rode offroad.  They asked a number of questions, and the questions evolved over a period of a few months - they became focused on moto rather than enduro.  I didn't think they were all that serious, and management changed, so I just disregarded the whole idea... And now, here we are!
