I'd be interested to know how many Champions Jett raced against in the 250 Class prepared to the Deegs.
One thing that can't be doubted is Deeg's definitely has been on the class leading bike for power in the USA. Jett was on one of the slowest bikes.

What makes you think they were the slowest bikes, Daniel?
Dylan went back to back 250 west titles in 2019-2020 and won the 250 outdoors title in 2020 before going 450 full time in ‘21, the year he won his 450 outdoors title.
What Jett did was smart, but a lot of the top guys that race 3 years in the 250 class and move up usually won the title on their 2nd year and got to defend the next and were forced up. Jett and Deegs won the title in their 3rd year and with the new rules they still get to defend another year. Before like with Dungey in ‘09, he won the west title in his 3rd year and was forced to move up and couldn’t defend. Same with Weimer, Tickle, Bogle, Hahn, Stewart. With the new rules, those guys I listed still could’ve defended the title after they won it.
Only dude with a MX title Jett raced was J Mart in 2020. Jett came in 4th that season. After that his biggest comp was jcooper,hunter and shimoda.

He took out his own team mate in order to win one of the rounds. It also meant that Cole dropped a lot of positions - hence Deegan was able to wrap up a round early. But I'll admit Cole was getting caught. I think going forward as he gains more experience that won't happen again.
Cole was landed on in practice so didn't compete in the last round.
Cole Davies will prove to be a better supercross rider. He's only 17-years-old remember.
Haiden Deegan is an excellent rider but he'll never be on the same level as Jett Lawrence. I wonder have you seen the two of them ride? If you can't see our extraordinary Jett Lawrence is you're either new to the sport - or fellating Haiden's dad on a regular basis.

I can admire his riding and tenacity, I guess it’s just the personality and sideshow that comes with it that I struggle to get past. But damn he’s got to be the most improved rider I’ve seen in a long time. That’s pretty impressive.

I know after a few of his first races in 2026 you will all be yelling that its his first year and to leave him alone (like the "Leave Britney" guy) but then in year 2 will you all tuck your tails and become religious like Deegs will after his inevitable rage baiting gets him nothing on the track when it comes to the current top 450 riders? Just want to know what to expect - its taken some time with the Tomac fans but they have now realised what we're dealing with...Going to be great watching the slow tsunami of results wash away all the Deegan hype they worked so hard to generate.

I ain't totally against him being on the team. I will say it would have gone a long way in the court of public opinion if he'd (they'd) just said he needed surgery last year.
Since then, he's had some decent podium interviews and seems genuine with his competitors. I'd give him a C+ or maybe even a B+ in attitude adjustment.
The bottom line is that boy is hotter than an outlaws pistol and we need a low scorer. Just my .02.😉

I am makin' an honest effort to look on the sunny side. At my age, hatin' anything is a waste of my time. I'll also admit that Deegs pissed in my cornflakes with his cocksure attitude and mouth...and turning down the MXdN ride. But, his "persona" is more to my liking lately and his talent if fucking impressive...I mean mind blowing.
More to your point...and I say this as a Jett fanatic, when they finally battle...it'll be one for the ages. King Kong and Godzilla was just a couple of sissys compared to what's comin' fellas.🙃

He's by far our best 250 rider and probably the best in the world. If the goal is to win then he has to be the selection
