Last night I'm driving home with my 350 on the back of the truck and I passed another truck with a Stark in the back and I threw a hang loose as I went by. A couple miles later he passes me and returns it to me. We drove down the road the next few miles checking each other's bikes out.
It's kinda cool that us riders are a brotherhood even though we kind of get into it online sometimes. Dirt bike riders are better than people.
Just don't start handing out rubber ducks to each other.....
Good for you for seeing the good in life. There's a lot of bitching and moaning on this page for people that get to ride dirt bikes on the weekend! Not everyone is so lucky. Huge thumbs up for this post. 🤙
Two Jeeps crash together and there would be ducks everywhere. Freaking hate those things.

I was working on my bike in the driveway one day and a couple dudes with bikes in their truck stopped and we bs'ed for a while. I was new to the area and they asked me if I wanted to go to a riding spot hidden behind a grocery store. I tell my wife I'm going riding, and she starts laughing at me saying if it wasn't for dirtbikes we'd be at a bar bowing up on each other acting tough but mix in a dirtbike and we have friends.
Love it! In the last week, I met a dude that had a mint RC-51 sitting out in his driveway and another dude that rides wheelies up my road on a Grom almost daily. I've said since I was a teen, if you gave the world a dirt bike and taught them to ride, much of the problems would go away
Another thing that Canada brought us that should go back...
Fuckin perfect lmfao.
Riding down the highway with my 125 recently some guy on a sport bike drove up next to me and signed "1-2-5?" with his hands. I nodded in approval and he shared the stoke.
hahahahahaha
When I was growing up, when we were in the car as a family and my dad saw someone riding a motorcycle he would always tell my mom, "See that person, they are better than you." Glad he passed on his love of two wheels to me.
Was driving from Edmonton to Drayton, AB on Wednesday and was following a truck with KTM in the back , then some broseph in a white truck with scooped wheels passed us with a YZ in the back..highlight of my week in Canada .
Misery loves company 😆😁 Hahaha good topic
35 ? years ago, I'm driving down a street and this guy comes running after me, "Hey Hey !!" So I pull over thinking wtf's this guys deal, he seems too excited for this to be good LOL. "Hey are you pool guy ?" "Yeah actually" "You ride dirt bikes ?" "Yeah...." "I saw the moto stickers on your truck and I need a pool guy" Wound up being one of my best friends to this day.
Maybe just me, but that sounds like an odd thing to say to a spouse. Hard to imagine my Dad saying something like that to my mom and getting away with it
How'd your mom react to that kind of thing?
Back in late 1981, I had one of the first 1982 RM250s in our area and was at a car wash after riding. Two guys came up and were gawking at the bike and talking about how theirs's was on order and couldn't wait for the bike to come in. Turns out they lived fairly close and we ended up becoming best buds and still are to this day. But then, no doubt vast majority of friends were met from riding.
These days, if two strangers came up and were checking my bike out...I'd be careful to make sure they didn't follow me home. Too much shady stuff going on lately.
Any help here
I know the pic is from Pulp Fiction but can't put 2+2 together to see how that fits in here?
A couple weeks ago, my brother and I are driving to a buddies place to spend the weekend riding and watching MX. The tranny in his F350 blows a seal. We are suck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. 5 minutes later a guy driving by, stops . Said he stopped because he noticed our bikes and riders stick together and offered us water and was thier anythin he could do to help.
Riders are the best people .
That's the scene where Harvey Keitel said "let's not start sucking each others dicks quite yet". I read the op and that was what played in my brain, lol.
Pit Row
Thanks! Yep, that fits in no doubt
I'm terrible at remembering details on movie scenes...not the first time I've been clueless and needed help!
I live in SoCal one freeway exit away from Glen Helen so I guess this isn't huge news but, I have been seeing a TON of trucks with bikes in the back around here on weekends. It's so cool to see. Moto ain't dead, yet....
I get all giddy like I’m a teenager again when I encounter trucks and or trailers on the road with dirt bikes on them.
But, I’m usually in my plain sprinter van, and restrain myself from getting all excited and waving to whomever is driving.
Just not good optics for an old guy in a van to be getting too animated to other motorists, you know?
I act like my dog. She has to check out the trucks with dogs and I check out the trucks with bikes.
