I think it’s referencing the rumor that Steve Matthes sued Yamaha at one point. I’ve yet to ever see any legal documents or anything to prove it.

I presume it comes form Langston saying somewhere that Steve sued Yamaha over employment issues , which doesn’t really make much sense as Yamaha is a big PulpMX sponsor now
I’m not a huge Matthes fan and I like Gypsy, but that post seemed unnecessary. Matthes really wasn’t hard on hopper at all, unless there was more said than what was on pulp. He just said he thought that you shouldn’t put riders in a spot where they could say something that could get them in trouble. I think he even prefaced it with he liked hopper.
There are obviously deeper issues with GL and Matthes so I don’t think this had anything to do with their beef.
