How is the Fastest Man Doing?

How is the fastest man on the planet (Ryan Villopoto) doing? At one point there was talk of Pala. Are there any videos out there of him riding during his recovery?

I must have missed the memo where there are now 12 "fastest man on the planet" titles floating around, haha.

He's been riding for a month with a week off in Alaska and is rumored to have a new
trainer to get him ready for some Australian SX,

RV will clean up in 2011. No doubt about it, write it in stone. It's a done deal.

Yep, for sure... don't worry though, the bandwagon guys will jump ship after the first race... they do that. Whistling

Feel kinda sorry for Dungey already! Dry Shocked Tongue

I love that line about the bandwagon jumpers...hilarious.

So true,

But we have to remember last year A1 when everyone leapt off Bubbas wagon on to Dungeys. Where was RV that night?

Don't get me wrong. RV might possibly return to top form.

But make no mistake. Dungey beat everyone down and is still improving.

It's all about potential.

Who's got more potential left? And who can realize all of the potential they got?

You think Villopoto's got it for all 16 rounds? Hasn't yet.

Bubba has. Dungey has. Reed has.

Long season.

Who's a crasher. Who's consistent. Who's lucky. Who makes their own luck. Who's bike is holding him back. Who's girlfriend is fucking around on him. Who's trainer doesn't know how to train. Who's tummy is bothering him?

Tools yes, stones, no.

There's a reason they run all the races. Just ask Christophe Pourcel and Trey Canard.

Let's let them race before handing out race wins and championships.

I think that RV can take Dungey outdoors, but supercross I will admit that Dungey has a lot better chance. He is alot smoother than RV and steers his bike with the front tire, where RV seems to steer his bike with the rear wheel. It seems that RV's style works well for outdoors but puts him at a disadvantage indoors. Of course, this is me speculating, I dont know shit.

RV vs RD, please stay healthy during '11.

Here is my early take on '11.

Stewart will get stuffed and there will be a lot of "was that an aggressive move" commentary on TV. Reed will be strong, but trailing slightly. Bummer, but RD and RV will run 1 and 2 all year.

Also, Canard will win the title during the last race when Dungey and RV pop shoulders out in Las Vegas. Go Ducky.

If RV could have had better results the first few rounds of supercross, and turned it down a notch the last half (been a bit safer, more consistent) I think he could have easily won the title.

He's got a good bike setup to start the season off with this year, so I think he's definitely in contention for the title! I've been watching some of last seasons races on YouTube and that guy was flying!

RV, Canard, Dungey, Pourcel, JS7, Reed, it's going to be a stacked gate at A1.
9/19/2010 1:37pm
Its going to be a long off season. Already jonesing for more moto.

Cant wait for A1 - RD5, RV2, CR22, TC41?, CP377, JS7, KDub14, JG33, AS29, IT9, and then add Stroupe, Alessi, Hahn and Metty and we are going to have some great racing. Hell - even the heat races will be awesome racing.

Although I am a Dungey fan - I want great racing and 2011 seems to be set up for multiple winners and a great series!!!

+1

2011's top 6 is going to be harder to get into than 2010's top 3. 50 years from now the 2011 season will be the "good ol days"

I'm sure I heard on the Pulp show or something that he was still getting a bit of gip from the injury.. That it was fine if he landed perfectly smooth, but hurt if he over jumped anything.. Really hope he makes a full recovery. This season would have been awesome with him in the mix.

Dungey walked away, Ryan did not. There is some luck, apart of the one you make.
