Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Locations confirmed so far are Buenos Aires, London, Cape Town and Gold Coast, but no dates that I know of?
Rider lineup may be difficult too with so many potential contract changes.
The London 2025 round has been cancelled because of the stadium's "inability to meet key requirements". Perhaps check those requirements over with the stadium before you announce the event?

If that is true then holy moly is that a brutal schedule for the teams, riders, and promoters.

It's off season races, extra money, and in cool places. They will be okay.
World SX bypassing all of Europe is interesting.
You can't even imagine how happy I was when they announced a german SX like 2-3 years ago. Then it got cancelled 2 weeks before the actual race, now they are completely out of europe all of the sudden, just tragic. I would be surprised if we even see more than three events this year.
Bruuuuutal travel schedule, but for the US guys who are going to race it it would be pretty cool seeing sooo many wildly different countries. The US guys have minimal time to travel outside the states so thatd be a cool “vacation”.
Same as traveling to the GP’s.
Going to Rounds in Costa Rica and Canada are tempting.
It's awesome seeing SX finally get the promotion and worldwide exposure it deserves.
Very cool!
Will be cool to see Tomac on the new steed if indeed he's in
So they have two races now at the same day as AUSX events and another one at the same day as the Paris SX race? That's something else..
There aren't any KTM teams in WSX, and I doubt KTM N.A. would support him as a wild card. I bet we don't see him this year.
Yeah hopefully a non star team will support that aswell for him, but I somehow doubt it. It would be weird though if WSX actually promote their races with Tomac now and then he doesn't show up, right?
Pretty sure Kenny signed his contract with WSX through 2025, so he should be in.
Lewis said rumor was Webb could give it a go aswell, but he is already confirmed for Paris I think and now they have races at the same day..
Not sure what their thought process was by competing with Paris and a round of Aus SX, this is not going to be good for them. What are the Aussie based teams going to do now that they will have to choose....I can't imagine them skipping Aus SX or fielding two separate teams....Leaves a huge question mark as to who and what teams will participate.
How much equipment/supplies does a race team ship to each event? How do they do it? Do they just load everything into a shipping container and load it on a plane? Does each team do this independently, or does WSX coordinate for all the teams?
Pit Row
WSX coordinates it. At least in the last they have
In case you haven't heard KTM is going through management/ownership change. 😉
SwapMotoLive posted a pic yesterday of the Murrietta HQ taking down the "Pierer Mobility Group" sign on the building and replacing it with simply KTM.
Wouldn't be surprised to see previous corporate direction - such as not supporting WSX - possibly change. Just a guess, but we'll see.
Will the Pipes team actually race suzuki 250's again?
Wow thats cool theyre going to merdeka stadium. I’m sure most ppl arent up on malaysian history but the independence of malaysia was declared In that stadium. Tunku Abdul Rahman raised him arm and shouted merdeka merdeka merdeka! seven times literally declaring “independence” out loud. Thats like running a supercross on the grounds of city hall in manhattan which is the former parade grounds where the declaration of independence was read by washington. Very cool!
I do believe the previous corporate direction will change, but not in a way that would expand racing operations.
It will be interesting to see how Red Bull responds to the ownership change with Pierer and Austrian pride out the window.
Is there some WSX fantasy so we can bet on how many rounds will be canceled?
They basically have to pack everything they need for the whole series into crates before round one and WSX freights it to each round from there. If the teams need/ want anything additional, it’s up to them from there.
The first time had to be a nightmare, but I’m guessing they’ve got it figured out by now.
With the date clashes and contract changes, I imagine they’re going to struggle to get headline riders to do the whole series.
One step forward, 10 steps backwards.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot while planning out the schedule.
Boy, I sure wish them good luck. That's a lot of travel. truly around the world. A couple of thoughts I have are: If Bajaj supports WSX, I'd think they'd want a round in India, whether that's in place of or with Malaysia. Does Costa Rica have a large enough fan base for it to be profitable? Never been there, so don't know. When do the mechanics have time to rebuild engines, etc.
I def agree. I think it should be priority #1 and #2 for the manufacturers to get a supercross in india and a supercross in china. The fact that india just launched its own sx series should be a shining beacon that they need to get over there sooner than later. Maybe let is marinate a couple years with their own series and build up a fanbase, but out of 1.4 billion ppl you could prob fill a stadium.
That being said its a brutal travel schedule, but they hit 5 out of 6 habitable continents, no europe where mx is very strong and no antarctica, but they hit all the rest. Rough to travel that far, but theyre bringing sx to almost every corner of the globe, I genuinely hope it works out.
