KTM aka?

Changing the name away from KTM would be a bad idea IMO.

Don't mess with the tradition of the brand.

….unless to Penton.

Diff is going to struggle with that one. 

So now in addition to completely ruining the history of Gas Gas and Husqvarna, were gonna add KTM to the list. Kronreif and Trunkenpolz must be thrilled.

Perier Mobility Group refers to all riders under the KTM/Husky/GasGas umbrella. 

 They're not changing the name. 

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing and Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing did press.

I wrote that to sum it all up, without having to list it all like I did there... It's quite ugly to look at. It's not that deep.

The new Kawasaki 2 stroke will be that bike with a green tank. 🤣

Keeping Pierer in the name seems odd to me. Not exactly a strong brand at the moment. 

What does KTM stand for, other than Killing The Mood?

I always thought it was :

Kronreif (Ernstd's last name)

Truckenpolz (Johann's last name)

Mattighofen (name of town)

Ernstd and Johann were founders originally producing bicycles. It wasn't until Jack Penton came along for their to be dirt bikes.

Well, if they go by Bajaj I can only pray that someday they have an Indian rider named Raj so we can finally have a Bajaj Raj

I had a '92 550 DXC that was every bit of "kick till Monday".  But I got it at fire sale prices so never owned a "Kost too much".
