I really have a hard time believing that Chad would/will ride a KTM. Sorry. Going to need proof before I believe this at all.

Another "reliable source" right...or would this be "industry insider"?? I heard KTM was sponsoring the whole series, SX/MX but had to give up the KTM challenge, that is of course, according to my inside source that I can't reveal at this point. All KTM girls wearing Victoria Secret....exclusive tho.

Nope, he'll be on a ragged out Harley Baja, wearing ripped jeans, flannel shirt, and high top Chuck Taylors .... maybe a helmet. No drink sponsor, but he'll be smoking Camels on the podium ........ just before security escorts him from the podium.

I'll believe it when I see it too, but some people are too stupid to realize that Big E might know what he is talking about.

It's another pointless thread to draw attention to the OP. There's a 6 page thread full of theories on where he's going next, and they're all pointless until there's official confirmation.

I agree. Big E is someone I would believe.

drmakr. I'm sure allot of people here are pretty sick and tired of all the BS threads that have started on this subject and have no idea who bigE is. Doesn't excuse morons telling someone like bige to fuck off but at the same time may explain it.

I think Chad would be a great fit over at KTM. Just not sure if I was hiring over at KTM that Chad would be my 1st choice. Either way next year orange will be in the mix.

For the record, I'm well aware of the rider with the backwards Earnhardt plate, it was sarcasm in respect to insider and relaible source.

With Decoster at the helm and a likely alliance with mad money from Red Bull......coupled with the fact that almost every magazine that has tested the 250f, 350f, and the 450f have rated the KTM;s at the top of the heap in an overwhelming majority of performance areas like power, handling and quality etc....... I can't see why there is so much distain for the KTM bikes, whats all the fuss about them now? KTM is clearly heads and shoulders above their past reputation even dating back to 03 with MC .....why would it be such a terrible career ending ride for Reed? Why do a lot on here hate ther KTM's so much? Its pretty apparennt that KTM has addressed the issues and I highly doubt it would be a career ending move for Reedy........IMO with Decoster I have no doubt that we could see a KTM win a major big bike (450 class) title within the next 2 seasons starting with the start of the SX season beginning this January,,,,, Also, IMO I think what Decoster can bring to the table w/ Everts, Lytle, and Bierer (sp) there is no doubt in my mind that KTM is getting their 'ish together and will be fierce competition very soon.

The current 450 bikes from Japan are not giving the kind of attention that KTM is pursuing for their big push into the SX/MX scene here in America and with the staff & rumored big name riders I think they (KTM) will have no problem being a threat for the win and titles each and every round starting with A1.....Musquin and Roczen in the Lites and Alessi possibly Reed and/or Pourcel I dont think they would be spending the kind of money to hire the best in the biz for riders and personnel, it would be a colossal waste of money for KTM to give a half assed effort if they werent confident they had good errr I mean great bikes in both classes and the secret weapon 350 .....I really dont see why all the hate for Reed to ride a KTM.......... It hasnt been proved that he will be riding there but the possibility of this big push ending up like MC's short stint ther eis unlikely. I dont need proof to know KTM will be a major player next year ....whoever big name guy(s) they sign will be a move in the right direction and Ill bet the Japanese "Big 4" are at the very least concerned about the possibility of getting their asses handed to them soon .

Cant see it happening unless Reed is looking to cash out. Looks like KTM may be going all in though. Problem is, if they lose with a great manager and great riders it will not reflect well on the bikes.

I find this type of response really amusing (or maybe confusing?).

What you are effectively saying is that KTM should continue hiring mediocre managers and mid-pack riders, so they have a built in excuse if they don't win.

Tell me, why would any serious factory team do that?

So if this were true and Chad goes to KTM and wear's alpine star gear and boots of course, Scott goggles most probably but where does that leave him in the helmet department?

Ok ok, I apologize for the quick reaction, even if OP is "in the know", the point if the thread has as much Believability as reeds tweets! You can't take anything seriously until it's made official. Oh, but OP is someone that would know? So's reed! At the moment he's riding Honda ktm, wearing fox shift one.who fucking knows.

Idiots.

Its just an all or nothing situation. It was just like when Suzuki hired a world beater in RC after all those years of losing and looking like a cursed brand, Had RC all the sudden sucked, had bike issues, whatever, Suzuki would have a really hard time coming back from that. Who wants a bike so bad that even Ricky cant win on it? If I was KTM? Yeah get a guy like Roger, but make the team a bunch of fast Euro riders that Americans dont have expectations for. Then it isnt all about the bike. If they do well you can bring in a big name guy to the team. But if you just bring a top guy over (especially on a brand most in America consider 2nd rate) and he starts getting beat and looking like shit you will turn KTM back into a joke. It may not be fair, but its reality.
