Look at the top 10 race results, then come back and HONESTLY tell me that’s a deep field. It isn’t…..

This poor fool claiming that it's a weak field.

Takes all kinds.

Yeh. Ask Prado if it’s a weak field.

At this point, Roczen is the only one out of those three that could entertain the podium riders though.  I don’t see how adding those three to this “weak field” makes it not weak anymore.

You can say whatever you want…… the top 10 guys are all old with years of wear and tear. Yes …I’m saying it’s a weak field.

Or could Jett be so good that he made the strongest field in AMA history look weak?..

In 2023 we all had to hear that he just beat Chase and never had to race Eli.

Today he beat Eli with 15 seconds in the first moto and then broke ”beast mode” Eli in the second moto and gapped him with 12 seconds in the last laps. Meanwhile making the rest of the field looking like amateurs including the current two time MXGP champ…

Yeah, the field is weak…

In my original post about this I stated right from the beginning that Jett is elite. There’s no question about that. But this field is not deep and far from it.

You make no sense. So aside from two riders, the current best 450 racers are all racing but it’s weak. Weak compared to what?

Adds a little more depth to the top 5-10.

Regardless, it's not a weak field. Not every rider will be a Jett, Tomac, or Sexton.

The only thing weak, is this troll trying to hijack the thread.

You’re actually pretty funny. Again those riders you speak of are old and far past their prime. They are names but their abilities are greatly diminished.

Only combining MXGP with the nationals would make it have more depth.

Out of curiosity, what years do you think had the strongest fields?

Would be interesting to see how you get to the conclusion that this is a weak field. People may agree with you if you can back it up with solid facts.

His ability to do anything is obviously top tier. Have to imagine he and Eli aren’t even close to top form yet coming off of injury and they waxed the field. Long summer for everyone else.

As an Aussie and a Jett fan I thought it would take a few races to get up to speed and had Tomac down for the win.

That second moto today was awesome.

Maybe if Tomac changed up a few lines it might have been on.

Jett seems bored. Didn't expect him to win that easy on the first ride back.

And the list goes on. So yeah, super weak.

Where's Chase lol

Jett's ability to maintain a 1-2 second lead over the best in his class and be silky smooth is all time.

His starts are pretty good too Smile

I'm a big fan of both Jett and Chase. Jett is on another level. I'm not a fan of Deegan, but he's on another level too. What I really want to see is Jett vs Deegan. I don't think either of these guys really have any real competition otherwise.

Crazy how it looks like he just cruising. Rolling through corners, standing up. You barely hear him revving his bike. Meanwhile Eli is pegged behind him lol

Jett absolutely railed that section after the rollers though, outside outside and then bunny hopping up the hill, that was a thing of beauty! Tomac caught on to that outside outside aswell mid moto I think. So sick to watch these two vs each other

Jett impressed me with his coolness under fire. Tomac was clearly faster in a few sections, but Jett minimized the damage and found ways to be more efficient. Tomac was riding harder and couldn't keep it up the whole moto, while Jett just hopped, skipped and jumped his way to a more comfortable lead. Every time Eli would cut into it, Jett just squirted away.

I think Eli is going to win more than a few of these battles, but he's going to need a holeshot or at least be ahead of Jett.

He is thee elite as of right now, for sure. That said with the exception of Sexton and a healthy Tomac it’s a weak field. The fact that Tomac with all the years of wear and tear can still hang says a lot about the competition as a whole. Hopefully one of the young guns coming up can make him work.

Hats off to Tomac.  All respect due but he went for it and couldn’t get him.

I'm curious what constitutes a strong field in your opinion.

Balding Aussie boy just came back from an acl repair in 3 months and fuckin waxed the field like Mr Miyagi. Beast mode got relegated to giving up mx and picking up flipping burgers at in n out. The amount of body lotion I have rubbed on myself looking at my hunter brother posters  after the race today is honestly off the charts.

When Tomac nearly passed him and he railed that corner he was giving his all.

When he needs to make up time like 3rd to 1st in one corner off the start is his flat out limit.

Rest of the time 85 - 90%.

I think I’ve stated my opinion several times. It’s really not a big deal that I see it differently than you or anyone else. Nothing to get fired up about.

Well mukka, your opinion is hugely disagreed with by the majority.
You’ll look a fool if you continue to say that in public.

Yes, Jett confirms it again.
