I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Sexton cleans house at Pala and wins by over 8 seconds. What do you think?
Poll

We’ve yet to see Jett lose a race there, I’m putting my gold on him as he’s surpassed my expectations everytime I’ve watched him. Moto 1 he gets third, behind Prado in second -4.8 behind Jett in first, and second Moto he finishes -3.0 behind Jett

Laps the field.
Is this for just one moto? Average of both motos? Best of both motos? Minimum of both motos?
Ummm, I think you mean Hangtown...
You misspelled Tomac...
The largest gap for either moto, and he wins the overall
Well now you jinxed it
I don't think Sexton will win a moto at Pala.
Bring on the outdoors!
Tomac and Jett ride tight and finish 3rd and 4th behind JCoop in 2nd.
How long has Jett been on the bike, a month? He's ready to pace Chase for 35min? We'll see. Chase beats Eli
Sexton goes down.
A. Once
B.twice or more
More like, “Jett’s been on the bike for a month?” Chase’s ready to pace Jett for 35 min? We’ll see” Chase has never shown thus far he can beat a relatively healthy Jett, even at Thunder Valley last year, one week after Jett wadded, he failed to run him down. A bit of a harsh take, but it’s crazy he can get so close to him but never take the top step. That’s all my Sexton frustration boiling out in one post
I get it. I know Jett's the man. Is he at his best right now? Because even when he is, its not like he wrecks Chase. Chase has been on his rear wheel at Pala for 35min before. I have high expectations for Chase this summer with how dialed he's looked on the KTM in sx. Im sure he'll frustrate the fuck out of me. I'm used to it by now lol
To be fair it’s an extremely valid question to wonder where Jett’s fitness is at, Chase totally could outpace Jett, I just personally don’t see it happening, that being said we have no idea what’s gonna happen. the uncertainty around every one of the 4 contenders makes this one of the more exciting round 1’s in a long time
Pit Row
Also I feel you, I’ve been burned so many times by being a Chase fan
This is the closest look anyone's going to get of Chase before he pulls away into his own zip code:
If he wants I think he can win by 30 seconds. Not much point riding that hard for the whole moto. But he can definitely ride his fastest for that long. I doubt Eli or Jett can though.
I think Jett will lack the stamina and probably confidence in his knee. Eli is in amazing shape, but still hasn’t been able to ride for a while so I can’t see him being able to match it either. I mean they’re both freakish so they should have the speed or very close to it. Just a matter of how long their bodies let them do it.
The first few rounds are the time for Chase to capitalise on Jett and Eli getting back into the swing of things.
If he can get a start he can win. Starting 8th isn't gonna cut it in this field, especially when Jett gets the hole shot every time. Last year he had the pace to win, not sure how anyone is doubting the pace... they put 40 seconds on Hunter when Jett and Chase got out front and put down their real pace. Excited to see where Eli slots in.
Never showed he can beat him? We've seen them go on a 40 minute sprint and go toe to toe the entire time, Chase just needs to figure out his starts and he'll have a real shot for the chip
I wouldn’t be a bit suprised if Jett or Eli came out of the gate and smoked him!! Say what you may but when the number 18 lines up Chase is a different rider until proven otherwise IMO
He's hurt me so many times but i keep coming back 😂
He’s never beaten a healthy Jett, Jett’s kept it close more than a few times but Sexton has never actually made the pass and made it stick on a healthy Jett. Jett on the other side of the coin has passed Sexton multiple times, and maintained a 2-4 second gap for the rest of the Moto
Southwick moto 2 was the only single moto where Chase looked unstoppable and then Jett just moved over for him because he had the overall. But yeah, since Jett moved to the 450 class, the only overall he has lost was actually Hangtown, that's a crazy stat. I do think the situation will be different for the first couple rounds though, not only injury, but also no gate dropes for like 4 months.
I think the results this weekend will be all over the place, Sexton will have a weird first moto and then smoke everyone by over 15 seconds in moto 2.
Yea he hasn't beaten a healthy Jett, but you can't say he hasn't shown he's capable of beating Jett. He was straight up faster at Pala last year. He just can't get a start to save his life. With that said, I do think Jett will win this weekend.
In the DV 2025 Pro Motocross Preview Show, he mentions that Chase's bike didn't look great when hitting holes and hopes they'll find something for Pala. He then mentions something about the Honda boys, even if they're half fit physically and their bikes are dialed, but was cut off by Musquin.
If Chase doesn't stand a chance against Jett that doesn't bode well for Eli. Considering Chase has hamdled Eli before. And do we think Eli is going to be better than the '22 version? Years older and stacking up injuries
