His son looks solid.  But really to be honest he looks like ur average fast local intermediate?

Tate is battling with kids with much more experience.  He is currently local level fast, but appears to be on a pretty steep trajectory.  He's pretty small for a 250F, but is going surprisingly fast.  He's also very smooth compared to many of the kids he is racing who are sometimes overly animated on the bike.  If you see him in person it's pretty obvious that Chad is teaching him.  He's very efficient on the bike.

I'm curious to see if Tate has what it takes. From previous videos I don't believe he will, but maybe he will work into it.

It's no different than Michael Jordan's kids not making it to the NBA (or LeBron 🤣) LeBron has really had to push for Bronny to get into the league from what I can tell as a non-NBA fan. Some kids have it, some dont.

^ I'm interested to see that, too. There are a lot of kids who have all the opportunity but never get there. Sometimes those guys just throw a switch one day though, and it's on.

I think the move to club will do wonders for Tate… he has been pushed very hard by his parents with a father that is one of the greats. He has a solid foundation and has the skills thanks to his parents, I think riding with more experienced riders more consistently with other trainers/coaches will allow him to grow into a more competitive racer with more confidence.

Much more experience yes, but no kid that he race against in the current classes is nowhere near the same amount of hours on the bike each week as Tate and got the same type of testing/backing.

I thought that he would evolve/come up to speed faster than what he has done.

But on the other hand, every time he goes out on the track or on a race, he knows that everyone is looking at him as Chad’s son and that probably puts the world on his shoulders.

Always been my favorite, the man is just a badass and gives incredible insight.  Great videos, and the kids are growing and loving life.  Pace kills me

It would be awesome if Chad were to help Prado with picking up the little details of the outdoor tracks this summer as Prado learns them.

I'm assuming Chad is still aiming to ride Loretta Lynn's this year?

First thing they need to do is have their own identity and get rid of the 22's. Are they racing for Dad or themselves?

I'm thinking with all the resources "so far", the juice isn't worth the squeeze. The kids still young so he has time.

I think a lot of people need to realise as well when it comes to Tate he was only really interested in bikes about a year and a half two years ago and that’s when they became “all in”. Regardless of how much backing you have it takes time. The Tate in a years time will absolute smoke the Tate of today, he’s only 15 and think it will really click around 16,17. Chad knows what he’s doing!

Chad and Ellie have the kids on their own path. They don’t follow the conventional rules or wisdom…and overall, it seems to serve them very well.

Kiah has improved tremendously. I bet she will be even more fluid and efficient once she is back to riding after her injury.

Tate looks so much better on a big bike. In my opinion, he never looked like he was comfortable on the small bikes. Different story on the 250F. I bet he will be rather impressive one year from now.

Pace doesn’t ride much…but when he does…he seems to have sooo much natural ability. He looks smooth and composed. His natural talent seems to be unbelievable. I’m confident Chad and Ellie see that, too…and it is damn impressive that they don’t push him in the MX/SX direction more aggressively knowing that. They let him do his own thing and explore his own interests. That’s cool. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pace gets the dirt bike bug in the next few years…and has success rather quickly if he puts in the work and listens to advice from his parents.

Such a rad moto family that continues to give back to the sport they love. Not many former Pros do that…and it is appreciated when they do.

I want to see Tate succeed.  I love watching their videos and he seems like such a good kid.  His body language off the bike reminds me a lot of his style on the bike.  I think if he can find a way to start lifting and eating more while he grows into his body he can get less awkward.

I don’t know that he has that killer instinct, and he doesn’t seem motivated to actually win, but that’s just from a very limited outside perspective.  He seems well adjusted which is great in life but hard to tell what’ll happen in racing.

Hopefully between Chad & Prado, they can help Tate with his starts.

Chad definitely left the training part with his racing too, he’s looking a little thick lol his bike looks sweet, looks like his ‘04 bike. Also noticed that Tate was running Akrapovic and not PC anymore, thought Chad was really tight with Mitch?

I wonder if Reeds kid is also learning the fake accent?

Yes, I think that’s where he is now, but I don’t think he will be there for long.

There’s a video of him racing supercross in Aus, and he is above fast local intermediate in Supercross, to me.
