Definitely could be. I’ve only seen him on SMX Next and futures and seen some amateur stuff all on 250s….but I have no direct knowledge on this race. Tried to see the bike close enough to maybe tell but no luck. …but I do know there is probably little to no factory on his bike.
…still…Juju should not be 15-20 seconds back imo on a full factory 250.
I agree that JuJu should be faster. But Enzo does a LOT of laps at GH and those hills are no joke.

I went through and added up his purse winnings this year in SX. From just the purse alone, Colt won $44,650 this season for being a 12th-18th place guy. We’ll have to wait and see how the weekend plays out to see where he lands but he’s probably not wrong!
I wonder if he has any sort of salary or if it’s just a results based bonus structure or how else he gets paid over the SX season?
He is there putting laps in literally every time I go there. Enzo absolutely rips at GH.

For sure and I get that…but we see this with many top local riders through the season…and the pros spank them. They are pros on full factory equipment with a big team doing everything for them…so imo…and just mo…Juju underperformed even with Enzo being a GH regular. …and I can’t imagine Juju hasn’t turned a few hundred laps at GH since he grew up less then 4 hours away and it is one of the best tracks, if not the best, within reach.
…second moto may be different….excited to see.

Temmerman was in a 450 btw. Every 250 guy told me the track was so smooth it was hard to make up the ground on the 250 against 450s on this layout.

Yea… I saw that in the second race interview. I like Juju and do want it to seem like I am picking on his ride…but Defrancisco beat him by around 15 seconds in the second moto in race 2 on a 250. I just expected more. Colt on a 450 is a tough ask…but Ryder? Ryder is really good and nothing to sneeze at, when not running into a fence, but I would pick Juju 22 out of 22 motos to beat him. Will Ryder be ahead of him in some of those motos? Yea…but I pick Juju….and to not gain any time on Ryder after he made it to third?

To be fair. Beaumer just finished up Supercross and Ryder D has been practicing outdoors for a few weeks. I wouldn’t base too much on on this race and that’s no disrespect to Ryder D.
I am going check it out on Saturday, hopefully there are still some top names there.

Ryder is also coming back from a serious injury where they cut through his stomach muscles to repair his intestines and remove his appendix, a broken arm and he lost over 20lbs while in the hospital . So to be fair id think Ryder would be at the disadvantage

I heard the announcers in 2nd moto say multiple times how rough the track was supposed to be. Didnt look all that rough from here in NC though.
Last year they seemed to finish right next to each other a fair amount of times. Both had shining moments where they finished top 5 & some low points running 15th.
Ryder d also switched from Kawi not that long ago. was last year his first year outdoors on a steel frame ? If so that’s incredible. I’d imagine he’ll take a step up this year. He’s always had speed just not the endurance.
I didn’t say I juju would beat him 22 out of 22. I said I pick him ahead of Ryder 22 out of 22…as in fantasy pick. Then I said “Will Ryder be ahead of him in some of those motos? Yea”. English…it can be confusing.
…btw…if you want to make 22 seperate bets each moto…and I take Juju every time….I’m in!
i was taking both in fantasy until Ryder got hurt kept taking JUJU until he stopped getting the results ..I personally think once Ryder gets over being hurt mentally and starts riding like he used to he will be top 5 on a regular basis . . He was starting to look like the old Ryder again this season until he once again got hurt which wasnt his fault .Hopefully he can come back strong .He did look really good thursday for only being back on the bike for a few weeks just kept getting killed on the uphills by the 450 ..
